Concerts|Pad Patter 5.1.17

@bestcee was it an adult They Might Be Giants concert? Or was it their kids stuff? We still sometimes listen to "Here Comes Science" in the car, and I sing a bunch of their songs with my Brownies.

Concert wise, we have a big music festival in town called Bluesfest. I used to get a seasons pass. A lot of big name artists come. Some favourites were the Flaming Lips, Metric, Arcade Fire, Stars, The New P****graphers, Broken Social Scene, Feist ... Haven't been in several years due to ... well, children. I also used to get a pass to Jazzfest when I lived downtown. I saw Herbie Hancock, Wynton and Branford Marsalis, many more... A couple times I also did the Osheaga festival in Montreal. In 2009, I was there to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Roots and Josh Ritter. I went with a good friend who wanted to see Cold Play. Who I thought (and still think) are righteously uncool. But, credit where credit is due, they put on a good show.

Artists I want to see: Beyonce (obvs.), A Tribe Called Red's Electric Pow Wow (Check them out here: https://www.youtube.com/user/aTribeCalledRed) which happens in town on a regular basis, but I somehow have never made it out.

@Juliestcyr it was adult. They did play 2 I believe of the kids songs. I used to listen to them more than daily through Mickey Mouse Clubhouse :rofl . we do listen to their 2 kids albums sometimes still. But my munchkin prefers their dial a song album.

I've only been to one...back in the 90's NKOTB hahahaha!!!

I would love to see Gary Allan, Blue October and the Lumineers!
