Computer work...

My husband is reformatting our computer. I have all my things on both my EHDs, but it still is making me extra super nervous... it also means no scrapping for a few days while he gets it all sorted.

So instead , I'm watching Harry Potter movies. Again.
And trying to figure out a planner set up...

Re-watching Harry Potter sounds fun. I haven't seen much of that in the last couple of years after having been immersed in the series for several years as each of my three kids took turns asking me to read the series aloud to all of them again and again. I didn't mind at all and miss those days. A couple of years ago we started a tradition to read the Christmas scenes from each book on Christmas Eve. I wonder if we'll do that again this year.

I didn't do much scrapping for the Halloween bash, nor many of the October challenges. I think I did one earlier in the month I actually forgot I had done. lol!
I just haven't felt much in the mood for them. I'm sad about Bingo, though. I have to go copy and paste my word list somewhere else, now that my desktop list can't be accessed.
I've been overwhelmed with CT responsibilities, and home life, so I left a team, and staying out of too many celebration emotions, and taking a chill pill. haha!

The reformatting came from slow wifi issues, and my husband deciding that I've over run everything on the desktop, and it clearly must be resolved, last week, preferably. I didn't have much warning that he was taking over the computer for days on end. :/

I would always get so annoyed whenever my dad decided it was time to clean out the computer. He hid all the shortcuts HE didn't use, and that's just one example why I used to get so annoyed. I'm glad I now have full control about those kind of things. It does mean I have to actively take action to get make sure my stuff is backed up and clean but at least it happens when I want it and how I want it.

Have fun watching HP! I have also been at it again the last two weeks. Amazing stories huh.

I love reformatting my computer LOL Makes it feel all fresh and clean. I should probably do that one day soon, but it definitely puts you out of commission for a bit getting everything set up again. Enjoy HP and good luck with your planner set up

The setup is such a hassle. But having a fresh start is so worth it. I have to take mine in to get upgraded and will be in the same position soon too.

On the plus side, since my desktop computer is down, I can leave the back room for work today. Haha. hooray more HP movies during work! might actually finish them today.

I've been thinking it's time for me to build (have my hubby build) me a new desktop again. The last one he made me 4 years ago and it is actually still awesome as ever. It's not slow or anything, but my laptop is what I really want to replace. I use my laptop in my basement craft room it's so slow that it's killing my productivity on projects down there. I'm thinking i want to replace it with a desktop, because they are so much cheaper and so much faster. I'm dreading the setup part though...

are you trying to figure out a planner set up for 2017 ... which is fast approaching? that is my dilemma ... i'm out of mambi dated pages as of dec 31st ... but purchased a Color Crush planner without the inserts/pages. I really want to use that one but not sure what set up. I also have the undated SC one sitting here (i got that one for like $17 or something). i thought i'd like being able to change it up after 18 months of one style. but i am stressing over it. #plannerproblems lol!

hope the reformatting goes well. and when you get your baby back it is faster than before!

I have extra pages for my happy planner (probably to last me another year).... I have a happy planner for 2017 (the classic size), but also a large 8.5x11 size, too (bought a teacher edition off the clearance rack and am repurposing it). I am trying to decide how I want to use them together or not. There are so many planner products here at the pad that would allow you to print extra pages SUPER fast. for either of those sizes, actually. I also have an undated Franklin Covey 365 personal size I never used from last year.

I played with some new planner stamps yesterday, and I'm just not sure I love them. To be completely honest, I don't usually decorate my planner - I just barely made it a habit enough to actually write things in it. I (on occasion) make some with digi supplies, but I don't usually. I can see, after doing a week of stamps, why stickers are so much faster... but can also be more expensive. I'm just trying to see if I like using the bigger size, or prefer to keep it smaller... gah. the struggle is real!
