My daughter's bedroom was painted peach when she was a teen. At night when her lights were on her windows glowed peach. The color was a PITA to paint over!

Oh come on, go all in! I'm sure your boys would love a monochrome house, colour-drenched in fuzzy peach! You're hubby is James, right? I think I read the book, 'James & the Giant Peach' back in the 80's but I didn't think it was going to be an interior design prophecy.
You can have all the fuzzy peach jumpers! I'm scared for fashion come our mid-year winter & I know 'warm minimalism' is trending for homes but I'm 100% sure I couldn't convince anybody a peach couch is a long-term investment but maybe I could live with a cushion or 2)
(Hopefully u can read the jokey tone in some of the above but I'd still hug you if we ever got the chance to meet & you were wearing a peach fuzz jumper)

I remember an 'apricot' room we had in the 80's and hearing this same assessment from my parents. It was just 'meh' from memory & a bit depressing really in the cool light of that particular room & I think colours my opinion of fuzzy peach

I think it's a pretty color, but I don't know why they would choose it as the color of the year. I have a sweatshirt from Myrtle Beach in this color!

:rofl My family would NOT be all in for the fuzzy peach monochrome house. Ha ha! But since I do all the painting, I guess they wouldn't get a day. Ha ha!

Yeah, my hubby is James and that's so funny, I didn't think of that book when this thread popped up!

I agree, peach furniture would be too much! Maybe an accent pillow with a bit of peach in it though.. then I could change it up later when I'm tired of this year's color. lol!

I think it's a lovely color as an accent. Like the papers posted above! I can see it mixed in as paint with a kit in deep blue or green. A button or two to lighten up a darker page. Maybe even mixed with with some striped papers!
Not so much as decor though. At least, not the main color. I don't mind peach as an accent color, like one wall in a room, maybe a bathroom? But not as a couch. It would constantly be dirty!

I do have to say, i didn't like last year's red either. So, that's 2 years of meh for me.

I'm meh about it but I'm curious how I could incorporate into a kit color palette. I'll have to think about it!

I am a huge fan of oranges normally but this peachy color I am not a fan of at all. Sorry
