Welcome everyone to our DSD celebration and to my favourite game, the Gallery Love Game. This game is all about spreading a little happiness and appreciation around!

One of the best things about the scrapbooking community is how we uplift each other. We love to spread joy by commenting on pages that inspire us. It feels great to give and receive that kind of encouragement.

Here's how to play:
  • Spread the love. Go through the gallery and find pages that speak to you.
  • Leave a meaningful comment. Instead of a generic "Great page," take a moment to be specific. Tell the artist what you appreciate — the color palette, a specific technique, or the story behind the layout.
  • Be genuine. A thoughtful comment shows you recognize the love and effort the artist put into their work, and that's the greatest compliment you can give.
Our format for this game is a little different from previous years, so please carefully read the game rules below! :agree

Game Rules:
  1. Create a new post and then copy and paste the info shown below, BETWEEN the dashed lines.
  2. After commenting on a layout, copy the layout link from the gallery and paste next to each number in your post. (Use the url page address at the top of your browser screen.)
  3. You should have a separate post for each set of 10 gallery comments.
  4. Every 10 gallery comments = one entry in the random drawing for the prize.
Please see Example In Post #2 if you are not sure what I mean.
(I am not eligible for any prizes so have included some layout links I commented on just recently for an example. :))

Game Prize:
One random participant will win a $10 gift certificate to The Lilypad!

Deadline:
This game closes on Tuesday, October 7th at 11am EDT.

**Hint** It helps to have two tabs open in your browser, one with your post (in Edit mode) and one for the gallery. Then it is very easy to comment on the layout, submit it, then copy the URL address and come back to your post tab and paste it!

This is always such a fun way to get your name in the hat for a prize! In between scrappin' and shoppin', take a break and leave some love! Easy peasy! I'll be making my way through the gallery today...it is already hoppin'!
