***Closed Winner Announced*** Forum Name Game | DSD 2023

I came up with 'michelepixels' as a scrap4hire business name circa 2011. The business didn't take off, but I used the name at many places! I was always surprised to find it available, because Michele is such a common name and michelepixels didn't feel very creative, so I was sure someone else would have used it too. If anyone else has, I've never come across it. And whenever I've done Google searches for michelepixels, it was all my stuff. Of course, maybe that's because I was the one searching.

A long long long long time ago, I was on the About.com quilting forums. Was into scrap quilting and labeled myself as sweet on scrappn'. When I started scrapbooking, it already fit!

I use to be scrapinmom in forums and then I decided to change it to my first name and last name initial. I think when I first registered here, I started with scrapinmom which is still my user name for the blog, so I must have changed it. I found out the other day that scrapinmom is still in the system for me to log on.

 

Farwen is my longtime internet alias, I created it just adding my irl name first initial 'F' to 'Arwen', from 'The Lord of the Rings', one of my favourite reads

 

Back in the 90's when the internet became the big thing and I was forced to come up with an online account name I had been listening to the OMC song How Bizarre a lot because it was also super popular at the time. To me it sounded like they were saying Megan instead of Making:

The G.T. is for 'Grandma Trish' which my grandchildren and all their friends started calling me but one of their friend's grandmother wasn't all too pleased! So I became "GT" to them all -
and now no-one gets their nose out of joint

Well, Eva is my name, and "tant" is the Swedish word for an older lady. Like you would call your mother's friends "tant". I got my first e-mail addy, and decided to use Tant Eva, I was 30 and felt old. Then I've kept it as my "name" all over internet - but not instagram. When I was starting with instagram, tanteva was taken. So I picked the name "tvingad" which is Swedish for "forced", since I was forced to pick another name.

Super boring over here ... spcoggs is quite simply first initial, middle initial, plus a variation on our last name (Coggins).

 

My forum name is made up of a shortened version of my name Cathy - Cath
My other hobby is Quilling - so Quill
and my first hobby is Scrapping - so Scrap
hence CathQuillScrap
or if you say it with a sort of twist... Cath Will Scrap... yes she will.... hehehe.

 

I have always used the name tiffany scraps over the years and it just is simply a reflection of why I am here.

 

Few years ago, I discovered TLP when I followed some designers to this amazing site, I created my profile, and so sorry but there's not so incredible story behind, I think that I run out of creativity, because I just took G from Grace and J from James, and that's all, an my forum name is G.J.
