** Congratulations @amien1 for being the winner of the $3 coupon in the random drawing! It’s almost time for Christmas and I can hardly believe it! The past few years I have been taking advantage of Blurb’s Black Friday Sales to print albums as a Christmas present to myself. Last year I got caught up to 2018 and this year I’m trying to get at least 2019, 2020, and 2021 albums done and printed. That means I need to finish my layouts – including my Christmas ones. Well, to help motivate myself (and anyone else who is behind), this challenge is all about doing just that – catching up on past Christmas pages. So, create any past Christmas layout using any Christmas themed kit from The Lilypad. Don’t forget that the Document Your December kits are on sale 30% off so you might want to use one of them! One lucky person will win a $3 gift certificate and since each and every page gives you an entry, it’s the perfect time to get caught up! This challenge is easy and meant to give you the inspiration you need to get those Christmas pages done. For my layouts, I choose to scrap Christmas lights of 2021 on these two pages using Falalalala by Rachel Jefferies & HMV 1 Questioning templates by Rachel Jefferies & Lynn Grieveson. I’ve been wanting to get these done and am so glad I finished them! I also used Rachel's DYD release, Mirth, to complete this one about our Christmas dinner from 2023: Gentle Reminder of the Rules: 1. Scrap any past Christmas page using any Christmas themed kit. 2. Somewhere on each page add the date so we know which year you are scrapping. 3. Layouts must contain a minimum of 50% TLP products to comply with our gallery standards. Any templates used count for a total of 15%. 4. You must post your layout in the TLP gallery and then post in this thread with a link to the gallery image of your page. 5. Your layout must be posted in this thread no later than 11:59 PM EDT on Monday, November 11th. All entries will be entered into a random drawing where one person will win a $3 coupon to The Lilypad store. That’s it! Easy peasy and will give you such a feeling of accomplishment to boot. I hope you enjoy this challenge as much as I did!
I used Rachel Jefferies' Mirth. Photo is from 2023 (not a good year). Playing a bit of catch-up for the DYD event as in looking back, there were some good moments. Journaling reads: December 2 2023 We dropped Margaret off at the condo after our early morning breakfast. Melinda had her place decorated for Christmas. So festive and fun.
OMG... thank you for much for this challenge... I am sooo behind on my albums... these photos are from 2022, when Katie still lived wtih us...
Y’all are totally getting stuff done!!! Keep making progress. And if it helps to motivate you, every page is an entry into the drawing! Woo hoo!!
I am desperately trying to get my 2023 album done before I need to start 2024! Thanks for the challenge!!!
