Closed: Technique Slow Scrap | 12.28 - 9pm EST

I didn't make the chat due to time zones, but I've enjoyed looking at your technique post and had a go at the challenge.

The colour of my daughter's be seen clothing clashed badly with daddy's be seen jacket, so it was a great technique to try for it.

Sorry I missed the chat Justine, but I loved seeing your techniques for changing to black and white :) I used a mix of technique 1a and 2 also using a gradient map b/w conversion :) Thanks for the fun challenge!

So many amazing pages have come out of this slow scrap! My favourite thing about this page are the vintage playing cards. This was my Crazy 8's deck as a kid!
I used the Google Nik Collection of photo editing tool's Silver FX (Noir 1 setting) to make the photo B&W). I then put the photo in one of Lynne G's worn photo edges and then texturized the photo to make it look more like a real old photo, and less like a digital one.

Here is mine. I used a filter from the Nik Collection then added an adjustment layer over, adjusting the levels, blending mode and opacity.

A few hours to go for this challenge -i'm offline for a bit now but loving what I'm seeing today and will be back with comments and coupons later!

**Closed** Thanks all - you should have got a comment on your page and a coupon in your inbox. Enjoy!
