CLOSED Monthly Muse February 2017 - Get Skinny! week-1

Here is my week 1. I stretched the girl and shrunk the hearts, rainbow and ric rac. Blended a paint splatter. Hope I did it correctly!
 
Hope I'm not too late! I couldn't make up my mind which set to get. I made the girl taller and made the rest of the elements pretty small.

Oh no @bbymks5 this is an all month challenge. Tomorrow is next skinny but the deadline is more lax...March 1st after my first cup of coffee. Lol but I am having a fun chat tomorrow 1 pm most our time. Skinny and inchies. Hope you can come.

If I'm not in the "most our time" can I play? Sorry it's late. And I was just talking time zones. Okay I'm going to play, as long as it doesn't involve Christmas (needing a break from Christmas layouts).
I made the Doll taller and skinnier. Tried to truncate Winter but it was already elongated so it looks normal. Finally settled on mini crystals.

Here I hope is a link to the thread. To get to the chat room, the blue bar just under the logo has the different areas. Chat is where you click. If you sign in you won't get your picture by your name. If you use FB to sign in you might get your FB picture showing. So hope to see you there!
 
I tried clicking the link from my phone and desktop and it's not linking anywhere; I wonder if nothing happens until 1:00??

I'll probably chat from the library, I completely forgot my daughter has Preschool Art Time from 11:30 - 12:30 LOL

Sorry something happened and my link didn't work. You should be able to get into the chat room though.

Well here's mine. As a relative newbie to art journaling, I always worry that it must be something deep and meaningful. Perhaps not?
I just played.
 

I elongated the building and made the banner small as well as added small hearts.
 
Wonder and fun both. Had to play after the lovely layouts in gallery made me so curious and excited. Stretched 'wanderlust' out, chopped off last bit and stretched both bits, shrinking lust and growing wander. Looking at it now, I realize I didn't get enough stretch in my piece, just mainly shrinkage - must have autocorrected myself without realizing it, grrr.

I returned from a little holiday feeling very unwell ( very bad sinus attack ) and wondered what I would do for this first week of Getting Skinny and with thanks to AmandaJ for giving me inspiration with her faith based artwork ... here it mine:
