January 9: Typecast
Hello everyone and welcome to day 9 of MOC 2026!

I hope you are having fun and you enjoy the challenges so far!
Today's challenge is a Typecast Challenge.
I love typecast fonts! They look so cool - regardless if you use them for title work or journaling!
You can find many beautiful typecast fonts here in the shop of Fonts by Heather at The Lilypad, she has a beautiful selection!
Here are some examples:
You can also find beautiful free typewriter fonts on different websites, here are some examples:
The rule for this challenge is very easy:
Your challenge is to create a layout in any style you like and to add a minimum of two different typecast fonts.
It doesn't matter if you use the fonts for title work or journaling.
(see exact rules below!)
Here is my layout:

I used three different typecast fonts:
- The Heavy Hitter
- The Sophia
- The Dorothy
(all by Heather Joyce, available here at The Lilypad)
The picture was taken in Dresden (Germany) where I have been in 2019.
For my layout I used the "Intueri" Collection by Rachel Jefferies and ninigoesdigi

The special rules for this challenge:
- Create a layout in any style you like and add/use a minimum of two different typecast fonts on your page.
- It doesn't matter if you use the fonts for title work or journaling.
- In addition to the credits please write down which fonts you used.
- The fonts can be from The Lilypad or from a free font site, but not from another shop! The fonts don't count to the 100% Lilypad product rule.
The general rules:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
- Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
- Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
- Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). Product from other stores will not be allowed for MOC; your pages must contain 100% Lilypad product (current or retired product from designers or guest designers presently selling at The Lilypad).
I can't wait to see your layouts!
Have fun!
