***CLOSED*** JANUARY 5: RECIPE CHALLENGE

Thanks for the challenge! What I love about MOC is that you get to dig into your stash & get to combine designers you never thought of combining.


1. One plain light background paper - CHECK
2. Add 2 more patterned papers to the layout - CHECK
3. Blend some paint, splatter, or gesso to any of the papers on your layout - CHECK
4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos - 1 PHOTO, FRAMED
5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout - CHECK
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. - CHECK
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - THREAD & OWL PIN
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and date - CHECK
 

1. One plain light background paper - think pale, but any color. DONE
2. Add 2 more patterned papers to the layout - any way you want, any pattern or color. On Triangles
3. Blend some paint, splatter, or gesso to any of the papers on your layout. Orange splatter added to background paper.
4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Minimum 1 photo, Maximum 3 photos. Used 3 photos.
5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. One at top triangle, 1 green and 1 orange together on bottom right, 1 leaf on bottom triangle.
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. I used 7 flowers, all touching foliage.
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. I added a stamp behind the foliage on the right side, a butterfly and a thread pile (under top triangle.)
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. I made my own title, used word art on the top triangle, date and one sentence of journaling included.

3. Blend some paint, splatter, or gesso to any of the papers on your layout: Paint splatter on the green polka dot paper.
4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Three photos in one photo block.
5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. 2 ferns and 2 palm leaves
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 6 flowers
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - sun, volcano and string
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and date. Title: Oh Volcano, Word Art: Explore One line journaling, and date

5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. - four individual leaves
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. - 5 flowers and all touching the leaves
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. - word strip next to photo + painted white swirl with the blue glitter pieces (it's a single element from PM Artsy No 2)
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. - Journaling sentence runs vertical next to lighter patterned paper. Word art [THIS MAGICAL CELEBRATION] + title (20 Anniversary) in bottom right. Date is next to sentence.
 
January 5 Recipe Challenge

2. Add 2 more patterned papers to the layout - any way you want, any pattern or color., pink with white and dark pink layered backgrounds

3. Blend some paint, splatter, or gesso to any of the papers on your layout. paint splash and gesso behind the photos

4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Minimum 1 photo, Maximum 3 photos. 2 photos

5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. two sprigs on each end of the photos - green and brown with twigs

6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. Flowers at the top and bottom of the page laying on top of the foliage.

7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. Stamp, 2 different paper pieces under the photos on the right

8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. Title "At Last", journaling, date and word art "This is Love"

4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Minimum 1 photo, Maximum 3 photos. 2 photos with a stroke frame
5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. 2 twigs and 2 pieces of fir
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 9 flowers touching the foliage
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. 1 piece of thread and two pieces of red twine
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. Check!

  • Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Minimum 1 photo, Maximum 3 photos.- 3 photos.
  • Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. – Evergreen in 2 sizes, dark green and light green
  • Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 11 flowers, 5 of them repeats
  • Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. – dark green bow, tree stamp, stitching below flowers
  • Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. Journaling below the title, wood board WA, date on frame of one photo.
