1. One plain light background paper - light Grey BG
2. Add 2 more patterned papers to the layout - 3 patterned pieces added
3. Blend some paint, splatter, or gesso to any of the papers on your layout. - done, 8 added
4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Added 1 photo
5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. Added 5 pieces
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. Added 10 flowers, all touching foliage
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Stitch, gears, metal bits, file tag, planet
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. 1 sentence journaled (probably would have added more if this rule didn't stop me), 1 WA, Title (used Vanilla Mermaid font, alpha from PM Galaxy and doodle from PM Tomorrow kit), & a date (on file tab)
 
I think I've followed the recipe.

  • 4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Minimum 1 photo, Maximum 3 photos. - just 1
  • 5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. 3 leaves on the right, 1 leaves/stem by photo
  • 6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 2 on the right leaves, 3 on the leaves/stem
  • 7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. - stacked cups, banner, mesh piece
  • 8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and date. 1 sentence, 1 word strip, 1 title coffee, date.

6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 11 flowers
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. Bird brush, washi, and tab above the pic( it’s kind of hard to see)
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and date. Done, done, done

6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 5 flowers all touching the foliage
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. I just chose to add 1 stitch on the cloud paper.
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and date. Hanging with V in the grass, "Life is Beautiful", "Hello Sunshine", and date added.

6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. A Kraft, a black, a white, a red and a green (peaking out under the bird.)
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here: a bird, a thread, a ribbon.
8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. ooops! I think I messed up and made two sentences of journaling.

8. Add one sentence of journaling, one word art, a title and a date. "CHILD OF GOD" TITLE, "PRAYERS" WORD STRIP, JOURNAL LINE, DATE ON STICKER

4. Photos - let's add up to 3 photos, they can be framed or not, it's up to you. Minimum 1 photo, Maximum 3 photos. 3 photos, framed
5. Place 4 pieces of foliage on your layout. placed at bottom of photo strip
6. Lay at least 5 or more flowers onto your foliage. The flowers must touch foliage in some way. 5 flowers among the foliage
7. Add up to 3 additional elements - stickers, stitches, postage stamps, etc. Anything goes here. Staples on word art
8. Add one sentence of journaling next to title, one word art, Beautiful Light a title Fall Sunset and a date 10/24/25 below left photo.
