I hope you will join me here in this thread at 3 pm EDT/12 pm PDT for our Forum Slow Scrap. I will add each instruction to this initial post and to the end of the thread. I will continue to add instructions throughout the hour. There will be seven instructions total, the first posted right at 3 pm EDT and then a new instruction every ten minutes (approximately). Starting at 4 pm EDT/1 pm PDT you will have 24 hours to complete your layout. All layouts will be due May 30 at 4 pm EDT/1 pm PDT.

Theme: Mother May I

I loved playing this game as a child. Since it is the end of May, this theme kept popping up in my head and so I decided to go with it for this scrap.



1. Mother May I…use more than one photo?…Yes you may!
2. Mother May I…Make a split Background?…Yes you may!
3. Mother May I…use some paint or stamps or gesso?…Yes you may!
4. Mother May I…use a journal card?…Yes you may!
5. Mother May I…use 3 word arts?…Yes you may!
6. Mother May I…decorate with 7 elements?...Yes you may!
7. Mother May I…anchor things down with staples or thread?...Yes you may!

That’s it…the game is over. You made it to Mother! You may finish off your layout with a date and journaling if you like.
Reminder: You will have 24 hours to complete your layout. All layouts will be due May 30 at 4 pm EDT/1 pm PDT.

@mcurtt the required part is highlighted and underlined in the Mother May I game...so yes, has to be more than one photo, has to have a split BG etc.
