I can’t believe we are already at Week 4 of the Summer Bucket List event! Where is the time going?? This week (until July 31) Christmas, Winter, and Document Your December (DYD) products are all on sale for 35% off. Therefore, I thought it would be fun if we had a challenge that allows you to take advantage of the sale.
If you are anything like me, you have holiday photos from previous years to scrap and this is the perfect time to get caught up. If you are more organized than me, hopefully you still have some winter photos to scrap (no matter when your winter is where you live!). All you must do for this challenge is create a layout about your holiday or winter with any of the products that are 35% off. If you don’t celebrate Christmas, your layout can be about any winter holiday AND… hybrid projects are more than welcome – in fact, they count as TWO entries!
So, let me show you my examples. First here is a digital layout about our Christmas dinner using Joulukuu by Lynn Grieveson (used both the kit and template!):
I also made two very simple Christmas cards as a hybrid project using Be Very Merry by Mommyish. My husband thought I was nuts for starting on Christmas cards, but I know I’ll procrastinate if I don’t take advantage of the challenge and get some done!
See how easy this is? I can’t wait to see what you come up with. Your new creation must be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and posted/linked to this thread. Your layout must contain at least 50% TLP product (templates count as 15%). Please list all credits and no off-site linking.
The deadline for Summer Bucket List entries is August 21st at 11:59 EDT. For completing this challenge, one lucky participant will win an $8 coupon to The Lilypad store, and one will win a $3 coupon, and don’t forget that all hybrid projects count as two entries.
