Love this Cathy, and how awesome that you got snow flurries. How did everyone do with it? Here in Texas, the entire town would have shut down bwaaahaahaa. I love that photo of you and your journaling is perfect for recording this memory!
@mocamom The areas of Jhb that got more snow I think might have battled a bit more with driving. As for me it was just fun... told afterwards that we shouldn't drive in the snow at all especially as we don't get it... but it really didn't last or even hit the ground.
Snow is such a rare occurence in Joburg that it's just a fun happy experience more than anything. It happens maybe once in 10 years! We had snow in 1981, 2007, 2012 and now 2023.
