@Karen Here's my DYD page showing my mushroom ornaments!! Now it's on to making the fox for my sister. The artist from whom I purchase my wool is having a Penguin felt-along this Saturday, so she might be getting a penguin instead!

Omgosh, those felt ornaments are the cutest!! I may or may not have fallen down a rabbit hole watching the Youtube channel you posted!! I can see where that would be so addictive!

Tell me about it!! She is so talented and so generous with it, too. I thought I'd just do a few things here and there, and suddenly I'm spending more on wool than scrapping supplies! lol!

Here's the baby penguin that I made from today's felt-along. I think I'm in love! And he's soooooo soft, too!

Omgosh, that is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen!

I know quite a few scrappers that would go nuts for that penguin... It was the mascot for the scrapping board where we all met. Right @Memaw2Wm and @bonnenuit.

I haven't done anything crafty this year but I was thinking of trying to create some bows/ribbons for gifts. I've been saving amazon boxes throughout the year (they have great small boxes) and will try to pretty them up a bit. I may make some tags for them too.

If I can't do it digitally, it doesn't happen! though I adore those mushrooms @QuiltyMom I used to have German glass red topped mushrooms but my Nana squeezed them too hard one Christmas (when she came to to England to visit) while decorating the tree. I finally dropped the last one a couple years ago. :( What I have done this year is made quite a few calendars, postcards and tags to give away. Tomorrow is my deadline to get envelopes for these little gifts as well as 'ribbonize' the tags! I have used and will still be using elements from a variety of products I've collected over they years.

i love everything in this thread! :beat

nothing for me this year unfortunately - i pin DIY ideas and relook at them, does that count?

Totally counts! ('cuz that's what I do too) :giggle

@QuiltyMom I had missed your adorable penguin in this thread somehow. It's SOOOO cute!!! Where do you buy wool? We don't have a local yarn shop anymore... all I have is Michaels and JoAnns.

No local yarn store? How horrible. But I feel your pain - most of them have gone out of business here. The owners retired with no one wanting to take over. It's very sad.
For needle felting I purchase all my supplies from Sarafina Fiber Art (I linked her store). She has literally everything you'll need for the craft. Their customer service is amazing. I just love everything about them.

Oh those are cute Jan!

I am crocheting like crazy trying to get gifts done! My son requested a large crocheted blanket in his college colors. It was going quite well until I started to run out of yarn and realized that the main color had been discontinued!!! I improvised and I'm back on track with it. We're together for another three weeks after Christmas, so I figure I'll wrap it up unfinished if I have to and finish it before he goes back to school.

I have an infinity scarf almost done for my MIL... I just need to sew the ends together.

I am just over halfway done with this marvelously squishy pocket shawl for my mother. It was a late add to the project pile, hoping to finish it soon as I need to ship it.

Don't even ask, but I crocheted a quick Santa hat for my dad's stuffed groundhog. Sigh... he thinks he's funny and has found an audience for his silliness on Facebook. The groundhog (Bob) goes on adventures with my father and shows up frequently in his photos... so I decided he needed a Santa hat... lol!
I love your dad’s groundhog idea!
