Challenge 2: Ziplining

Hello everyone and welcome to week two of summer camp! I hope you’ve had a great time last week and that you enjoy summer camp!

This week is all about alpine activities and this challenge is about getting down, once you have climbed that mountain. Have you ever tested ziplining? I haven’t but it’s on my bucket list, I would love to experience the swoosh through the tree tops!

Well, ziplining makes me think of strong diagonal lines and this is what this weeks challenge is based on. I want you to create a page using strong diagonal lines or triangular shapes. I also want you to create a sense of movement in your layout, for example with strong lines pointing in one direction or with arrows or chevrons, just to enhance the feeling of the zipline swoosh. If you want to challenge yourself I encourage you to find an old or take a new photo with a creative photo angle, but that is not a requirement.

Here is my page, I used several triangles to create my page and I actually stood on the table to take this photo of my daughter, sewing her second skirt this summer. As you can see, I used both papers and elements for my feeling of movement.

Notes:
Please post your completed layout in The Lilypad gallery, making sure it meets the following requirements:

• Your layout must include at least 75% Lilypad product (templates count as 15%; fonts are exempt)
• Credits must include the full name of the product and the full name of the designer
• Layouts must be new and created specifically for this challenge
• Uploads must be under 250k
• No off-site linking is allowed in credits

Deadline:
To be eligible for the overall Summer Camp prize drawings, submit your page by September 3 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
If you want your layout to count toward monthly rewards, it must be posted by the end of the corresponding month (July 31 or August 31).

Prize:
One random winner will be selected from the eligible entries to receive a $10 Lilypad gift certificate.
