Chair

On a separate note, my hubby just started using a stand up desk at work. Well, it's really a two-in-one option. It folds down to his traditional desk and he can sit at it with a chair OR he can pull it out and up and then stand at it. That would NOT be wonderful for me since standing in a stationary position causes more pain. But would that be something that might work for you?

I have a standing desk at work and LOVE it! Actually, it's a DIY treadmill desk that I can either walk (very slowly, like 1-2 mph) or stand at. Several people here have the type of desk your husband has, too.

Thomasville Furniture has a line of office chairs at Office Depot, and that's where I got this one. Here's a link to the specs (they no longer sell this particular chair): http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/862396/StyleWork-by-Thomasville-Wellzer-Mid-Back/

Because of my extensive back issues, replacing my chair is something I have to consider every couple of years. I spend a lot of time designing and creating at my desk, so it's important to have a good chair. Get out of that folding chair, chicka! A dining room chair would be better than a folding chair, that has no back support.
