What are some small gestures that you do for friends or family for any celebrations? Something little or inexpensive? My friends birthday is today... I always make a little birthday video to share, and then get a card and some lottery tickets or a silly game. For others, sometimes a plant, or something yummy they like to eat or drink. I've also printed and cute pic, then framed it. I've gotten some favorite candy or a fancy cupcake. What are other ideas? I want to change it up a bit and want something personal, quick and not hugely expensive.
I make cards. For special friends I give them something little and homemade. I'm running out in my gift box now, but over the past I've made a small item alongside a project, usually using the same tools/supplies or scraps etc. So maybe mini bag, a bookmark, or the cover for a shop bought notebook.
I give home made extracts... vanilla & cinnamon Right now I am in the midst of a batch of Limoncello to put in cute bottles and give to friends...
One of my male friends just had a birthday yesterday. He is a huge horror movie fan so I got him a pack of 200 horror movie stickers, and a Pennywise Chia Pet. It's too funny and he said he had the best time going through all the stickers. He also just recently got a Pennywise tattoo, and the Chia Pet matches it almost perfectly lol.
Often a little seasonal plant/flowers from Trader Joe's and a treat of some kind... for one friend it may be a coffee... another likes sweets
I send my nieces and nephews birthday cards each year. Last year I included one dollar. This year I included one old photo. Other than that I’m not a good gift giver so I’ll be watching this thread for ideas!
