I got a Shutterfly book in the mail today. As I was flipping through it, I came to this page. And at once I both teared up and smiled. I'm sad that Dawn is gone, but I smiled because her artwork lives on in my memories. So, I thought, maybe we could celebrate Dawn and share a layout made with her products? Let's find a few smiles in her talent, even if they are through tears.
@bestcee You gals can also participate in creating a bouquet for her. We are using the Monthly Muse this month to honor Dawn and her wonderful qualities. You can check our first Challenge is UP!!!!
This is a wonderful idea Courtney (and Dalis) Looking forward to coming back to this thread several times
I don't have time to scrap today, but I searched my 2018 scrapbook pages for "inskip" and found all these pages containing elements she made. If you want to see any of them closer, they're all in my TLP gallery.
I got such a kick out of her wordstrips! I started SO many of my pages with Dawn's backgrounds. One of my faves was PGraphic. One more - but I have lots more. I used this as one of the covers on a photobook.
I'm not sure where to start, i have so many tabs from my gallery open at the moment she has helped me share so many memories - her love of animals and birds particularly connected me to her and her designs so i'll add some of those first (that last one - with the big peach flower - i was so in awe of those Beautiful Soul Collage Papers when she brought them out and like so many of her mixed media backgrounds i was like 'how can i cover any of that up with a photo?!' but i've used a few since and they're some of my favourite pages)
Beautiful tribute to Dawn. I haven’t been able to focus at work today, and I didn’t sleep at all last night. My heart is so broken.
Oh goodness, where do I start! I absolutely adored being on Dawn's CT and being able to work with her gorgeous designs! I will miss her stunning and unique art designs and beautiful soul, but I know that whenever I look at these pages I will remember her!
I am one of Dawn's CT - here are some of my favorites. I will miss her and her gorgeous unique designs, her weekly mails, her kind words outside the CT. When I went through my gallery it was a little journey... I will always remember her.
