Today is Cat Herders Day! Let me just tell you, working in a school the week before Christmas Break is most definitely like herding cats! But I'm sure many of us are feeling that way this time of year. This is an ad for a business, but it cracked me right up! How about you? Herding any cats of your own?
I have three cats and herd them every evening to get them inside. No scars either so I am much more qualified than the guys in the advert. Love it, thanks for making my smile even broader.
There was a SuperBowl ad years ago about cat-herding...BEST EVER SuperBowl Commercial--in fact, the video looks much the same. I love this one too. TFS!
Not really herding any cats at the moment... but my daughter was a camp counselor for preschoolers all last summer... the stories she would tell! She was definitely herding cats... lol!
Ha! That's funny but true! No cats here- would only ever have a Maine Coon if we had another, but hubster is allergic so...
Since I only have one cat, I can't really call it herding. LOL My whole week has felt like I've been herding cats, though. My mom calls it "making pumpkin soup." Where you start something and then shift to something else over and over again. Things get done, but it's not my preferred way of working. I like to get a task going and complete it. But everything is overlapping right now with Christmas and buying presents and working and keeping up the household, etc. It's slowly but surely coming together!
Ha ha ha! That was funny! My two best friends are teachers, kindergarten and 1st grade. Whenever I hear the term cat herding, I think of them in their daily jobs.
LOL! I herd my children when we are at church or our homeschool group. As soon as I get the youngers to gather together the older kids have wandered off to chat with friends...and cycle takes forever to end!
Too funny! I had to see what this thread was about...... lol ..... right now I don’t do any herding but my life felt like that when my 6 children were young and we had to get out the door!
I feel like I herd cats all the time. Either the ferals we take care of with our neighbors or our kitties inside. I didn’t realize this was a holiday, since it’s actually my life lol
