Can’t Wait

I am looking forward to my son coming back Saturday from his trip to Hawaii with his girlfriend and her family!

I am also looking forward to the family dinner we are hosting on Sunday to celebrate dh's and my dad's birthdays.

I can’t wait to finally get moved into our new home. We’ve had some hiccups with getting appliances delivered and internet connected so we can start living there. We’ve been taking loads over every night after work and are hoping we can get moved in soon. I’m sick too, so that’s complicating things even more.
The process of moving is the worst! I hope you get well soon and everything is smooth sailing the rest of the way!

4 different days. Around here there are so many functions, parades and things to do. I even went to one last weekend! lol!
Oh! That’s more manageable then lol how fun that it’s a month long celebration!

I wish I was in Hawaii! ;)

Happy hosting Sunday! I don’t like to host but I do like to celebrate birthdays.

I am busy working on a photobook too and it will be amazing when I can send that off to be printed. Hopefully then I can pick it up the next time we visit our son.

I hope you get it finished quickly Stefanie!

Some good news… I get to go visit my kids and granddaughter in Utah the first week of March! Yay! :happydance2
Yay! I hope it's warm for you! Right now it's 30s but it's supposed to be 50s next week.

I don't really anything big to look forward to that I can think of. :giggle Right now I'm just enjoying the slow days of winter and not having much to run off to these days. Lol. I'm so boring, but I love that! Ha ha!

I'm a homebody too and enjoy slow, quiet days. I love when I don't have to go anywhere and can just do leisurely do whatever I want.

Slow, quiet days are the best. DH keeps getting stressed about taking DD to all her different activities and then I start stressing! He’s the ultimate homebody and has rubbed off on me. ;)

That’s a great thing to look forward to Michele. What month do you usually get the new contract?

In the past three years it has been May, but I thought that was only because it took that long to determine they had a place for me. I thought it might come earlier since I got the job offer from the principal at the new school in January (previously I've never known before May), I accepted it immediately, and she said she would be "putting in the recommendation to hire . . ." asap. I plan to write to her again in the next week or so for clarification. I already have once in February and she assured me it would just be a couple more weeks. But now I'm wondering if there's a longer process I'm not aware of and even if she's done her part, HR may take even longer.
