Here’s a quick one for the day. I use my camera phone for everything. I do screen shots all the time if I need to remember something or like a recipe, I will screen shot it. Or maybe a tip. I screen shot that too. My camera roll is out of control. It’s almost embarrassing. So guess how many photos are in my camera roll. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max. No prize just for fun! and so I am not alone how many photos in your camera roll on your phone?
I'll guess you have over 20,000 photos. I have 11,673 photos and 267 videos on my phone currently. I used to remove old photos more frequently when I'd hit the 50 GB limit in my cloud storage, but now I pay $2.99 a month and have 200 GB, so I'm lazy and just leave them all on there. I also use the screenshot feature all the time to remember stuff! I LOVE that!
I had to delete some because my little SD disk in my phone ran out of room.. so way to many.. lol.. I take photos of everything from food I eat to photos of the dog..to things in nature.. the kids.. the grand baby.. videos of pasta being made at work..lol.. you name it
No idea how many you have but you made me look at mine. I found quite a few that I had not transferred to my computer so that is now done. And, while I was checking I deleted others that I had already transferred. I am now down to 265 photos on my phone. Many of those deleted were shots taken of items I saw in stores that I wanted to research before actually buying. And photos of the replacement doors I had considered 4 years ago. Most of them were blurry as well! Yeah, I don't use my phone for photos since I still love using cameras!
I have 25 280. Phone is three years old and I have an extra SD card for photos. Gonna guess you have something similar.
I don't actually know how many photos I have on my camera roll as I don't have a phone at the moment, been 6 weeks so far. Long story short - the logic board on my iPhone 6s died and the repair place told me they'd have to send it away with no guarantee of the ability to get parts or fix it so I decided to not go ahead and save up and get a new to me phone instead.
9,243 photos and 160 videos Most of the videos are ones sent to me by my Granddaughter. I need to start weeding out the photos/screenshots I took for "temporary" use.
I’ll guess 15,432, the number I have on mine. In January I cleared off 1000 shots thinking it was past time to clean “house”. I definitely need to get back at it. I’m like you, I take screen shots of everything.
9307. I'm pretty good at clearing off trips/big events (like kid concerts/plays) once I've transferred them to my computer & EHDs and deleting random stuff I don't need anymore. But I have pics going back to 2014 (from my first iphone) still on my camera roll (they are sentimental).
I'll guess 11,000 for you I currently only have 232 photos and 44 videos actually on my camera roll. I periodically make sure they are all backed up to Google Photos and then downloaded on to my computer and backed up from there. Then I delete them out of my camera roll. I can still access them on my phone on the Google Photos app.
I'll guess 33,333. I just took my 44th photo a few minutes ago. I usually transfer all my photos to my computer every weekend and delete them from my phone. It's a habit I developed back around 2014 when I had my first smartphone and wasn't smart enough at the time of purchase to know that I wanted a lot of storage. I repeatedly received storage warning notifications, so one thing I did is remove my photos from my phone every week. My second and third phones have had much more storage -- the only time I got a storage warning on my current phone was during my road trip in 2021 -- but I continue the habit because I like the routine. I also caption my photos in Lightroom, so if I stopped doing it weekly, that would be difficult.
2388 total for me, but I do the same as Jan- I only have photos from last December to now on my phone.
I'm guessing .... 35,000? I have 28,853 apparently. I sync with iCloud, which syncs with my Mac too. I try to go through monthly and delete the extras and screenshots and stuff ... some months that happens better than other months lol
I use my phone roughly 1/3 of the time, so based on my numbers and if you are primarily using your phone for photos, I am going to guess 18,000.
