Calling all Europeans (& everyone else willing to travel!!!)

would love to join, London is doable, Milan, Venice or anywhere Italy is even better (just around the corner) or Switzerland :) would be perfect, Love Holland, so will try and make it, Paris is always great... The dates would be the clincher. End of August would be crossing of the lake for me, and before that in August it would have to be UK as the whole family would want to come, and then they can stay with my in-laws in Henley, while I can travel to London.

Sarita will be bridesmaid for her best friend Lauren who grew up with her, almost like a niece to me, she gets married first week of August, so for me the 8th we need to be in London, but, as I mentioned before: my place isnt big, is a two bedroom flat in a very nice place, amazing neighborhood & we have a HUGE sofa that turns into a bed that can sleep 4.... so I can have 4 people at mine-

I'll come back to this with a clearer head, is almost 6 am, I haven't been around because Sarita's wound opened, I fired my carer, my bath tub is blocked and full of water coming out of the washing machine, because this is a council building (belongs to the government) I have to wait for them to fix it- they sent plumbers today but they boys said they need to send the contractor with a better machine to unblock as theirs isn't string enough....they said they would come later but they didn't....I'm in a bit of a foul mood, haven't slept much for the past 72 hours ....I wanted to catch up on the challenges- and tomorrow I need to go doctors with Sarita who is panicking because two (I think, maybe only 1) stitches opened....
So as soon as this gets sorted, I ll come give this some attention and start getting organized towards something more concrete.:heartlub
 
The end of August would be best for me. My youngest has her birthday on the 10th and then school starts on the 12th. My oldest has very last "First day of school" because she'll be a senior. So, I can't miss those two events. Any time after the 12th is good for me! That said, if another month works better for everyone, please don't schedule it on my account!!

If its London - the only time I cant make it is the last week in July and first week in August


So the end of August would work for me too
 
what about some nice weather in Madrid? I'd love to meet you all :) are we thinking about a weekend? tickets to London seem cheap but it's not that cheap as it looks like. If we choose paris I wouldn't go to hotel I normally rent apartments dear small but enough for a weelend and much easier to make it affordable.
 
I have just seen that you are planning it for summer but the problem is that in summer time many of us may be on holidays and tickets are much more expensive, we could do it early spring or maybe autumn?

Oh I didn't realise you are in our end of the world!!!!!

we are trying to get something together around Laura's possible dates, but we will see how things go... I have my daughter recovering from surgery so not have been able to come dedicate much time to this, especially as I am trying to complete the MOCs, but we ll talk when I know a bit more, have time to talk things in a more precise way.

Where abouts are you? because for some of us in the UK, getting to Paris or Belgium, even The Netherlands, is a possible weekend that wont cost too much, the Eurostar has really good offers so we may make some meet other than summer...

I can't organize nothing now because at work we're in the middle of a big reorganization and I don't really know what I'll do
However, if it's a saturday-sunday and I'll not be traveling for work, I can't see any issue ^_______^
London and Paris, already visited ^___^ also Madrid ^___^ so, I can say..Rome or Venice (but really expensive I think).
Amsterdam is ok with me.. really, also any other location ^___^
 
I may be in too. Paris or Disney for sure are not far away from my home so best option for sure but London may be a good option as well (Hum I'v never been there...) in August I'll in holidays with my family from 8 to 23 so can't come within those dates.

Amsterdam would be perfect for me as I don't know my options later this year as far as it comes to the costs :(
Maybe Paris, but like I sayd...I really don't know if I have any options in that.......
 
There will be a Big Sail event in Amsterdam from 15 till 20 august, so it will be very busy then. Hope that the date is possible for me too and Natas we can always travel together :-)

Copenhagen would really be the best for me :) Maybe London but then there is this money problem :(
 
for me only Paris and London would be affordable. The connections to Amsterdam are really expensive.
