Today is National Cake Pop Day!

I coudn't tell you the last time I had one. Both of my little granddaughters love them so much and are always wanting to go get one from Starbucks. I'm not that big a fan. But just for fun -

Do you enjoy cake pops?
If so, do you have a favorite flavor?
Do you get them from somewhere specific?
Have you ever made your own?

Do you enjoy cake pops? I've only tried my daughter's from scratch but they were amazing!
If so, do you have a favorite flavor? I don't even remember what flavor my daughter made.
Do you get them from somewhere specific? I've been tempted to try the ones at Starbucks.
Have you ever made your own? I haven't but my daughter did and it was very labor intensive which is not for me lol

Do you enjoy cake pops? Surprisingly no, because I do love cake! I prefer my cake and frosting to be two separate things though, not mushed altogether!
Do you get them from somewhere specific? I buy them from Starbucks all the time for my girls because, unlike me, they looooove them!
Have you ever made your own? We have a little cake pop maker but I can only remember using it one time! Now it's just another appliance on the shelf!

I'd prefer a whole cake...which is part of my problem...so can't do cake pops, though I think they are cute. Kind of like a little gateway drug.

I'm not entirely sure if I've ever had one. I have a vague memory of seeing them at a party once and I think I might have tried one? I'm sure I would like them, because I have a killer sweet tooth, but also.. WHY ARE THEY SO SMALL?!?! :rofl If I want cake, I guarantee that a tiny little cake ball isn't gonna be enough. Ha ha ha!

And nope, definitely never made them.

Yeah, the labor intensive thing is a turn off for me as well!

I agree with prefering the cake and frosting to be two separate things.
Also, I have so many of those quirky little appliances lol

Same...just give me a whole cake! They are really cute, but I can get a small cake, all for me, atWalmart for not much more than one cake pop at Starbucks...and their whipped frosting is so good!

Yep, a little ball of cake is definitely not enough, especially when I can get a whole cake at Walmart for not much more money lol

I'm with @scrapchyck - I'd rather have the whole cake! My son is a huge fan. He used to have me stop at Starbucks on the way to school for a latte and cake pop. He was partial to chocolate.

Me, too...on the whole cake!! And now I need cake lol.
My granddaughters want me to take them for cake pops every time they get in my car.

I'm not a huge cake/frosting gal in general, so I tend to gravitate to other desserts. My yougest loves them, so I think I've maybe had a bite of one before, but can say for certain.
