Bubble Bath | Pad Patter 1.6

Something about soaking in water that you just washed in grosses me out.

Decades ago, I read the same thing somewhere. If you plan to soak in a bath, take a quick shower first otherwise you're soaking in ....well, your own dirt.

Definitely a shower person but we have a claw foot tub which while deep is not long enough for me to soak in. If the legs to waist are in, the upper body is out and vice versa. I CAN get in and out of it but half my body under the water is not good enough. A renovation of that bathroom is in the cards...prob 2020. nope, no tub.

Definitely a shower person. When I was growing up, we had no shower, only a bathtub. The uncles (lived downstairs from us) remodelled their bathroom and put a shower in. They invited us to try it out. I fell in love with it. :-)

I for sure need a bath this week....I haven't had one for about 3 weeks (but I have showered every day). I usually take a bubble bath once a week and use a special conditioner on my hair that has to sit for 10 to 15 minutes before rinsing. I have a window above my garden tub so I can sit and look at the tree tops. I usually read a magazine and stay in there for a hour or so.

My hubby likes a bath too and usually takes one on Saturdays to relax and read. @A-M - his mom is 86 years old and takes a bath every day. Her tub is very clean. :agree

I even did a page last MOC about my tub...

I love swimming, but I'm not a bath person. I am a quick shower kinda gal. I don't like long showers because my skin goes funny and it limits what I can touch afterwards (eg, do not shower or do dishes before papercrafting). Never been sure why, doesn't make a difference with alternate soaps or moisturisers, or anything.
I also don't like hot showers. I do not have a high heat tolerance, so my showers are quite cool compared to most.

I love baths!! I don't necessarily care about bubbles, but I like to use something like salts or a bath bomb usually to make it smell pretty while I relax and read on my phone. Unfortunately, since we moved in March, our new place has a horrid tub. I didn't notice it until I first went to take a bath. It doesn't have a slanted back so it is completely uncomfortable for me to lay in.

Evidently, according to my calendar, today is Bubble Bath Day. I probably won't be celebrating because I'm not a fan of taking a bath :giggle Every now and then I will soak in the tub, but it is very rare. I prefer a shower and laying in the tub is just not relaxing to me.

What about you? Bath or shower? Do you enjoy soaking in the tub?
SO GLAD to know I am not alone! I've never understood the "pleasure" of stewing in dirty water?? Tried it once in a luxurious hotel, and aside from my just mentioned sentiment, I used waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much bubble stuff and slid all over the place! It was quite a sight and I still laugh about it. Give me a fresh "rain" shower any day!!

I struggled very hard with my bathroom floor plans in order for me to get a bath tub. And I succeeded. I now have a gorgeous bathroom with both a shower and tub and I take a bath at least once a week. It’s heaven. And since I’m a child at heart, I loooove myself some bubbles. :cloud9

In our previous house we had a jacuzzi tub... I did enjoy a nice hot soak in that with the jets going. This "old" house has a narrow tub, and I don't think I would like using it - not to mention trying to get in/out of it! LOL Bad knees, hehe.
