I've started my day with putting the laundry on and coming to The Lilypad. I'm going into the kitchen shortly to make breakfast. One of the benefits of my children being all grown up is they do their own so I don't have to get up super early so that Joy gets to school on time. My own brekafast habits have changed now that I don't eat before school too.

I now wait until I'm hungry, so usually between 10:30 and 11:30am. If the later then I call it brunch instead of breakfast.

My preference is a cheese and leek omelette with garlic - plenty of garlic. When I eat with my husband we have his homemade yoghurt with nuts, seeds , fruit and cinnamon.
 
On workdays, when I have to leave for work at 8:00, I usually eat between 7:00 and 7:30, give or take a few minutes. It's 6:53 as I type this eating my breakfast today! On weekends I usually hike/walk first thing, and that has me breakfasting anywhere from 9:00 to 11:00, depending on when I started (earlier in the summer, later in the winter).

I don't have a "normal" breakfast. I will eat anything I eat at any other time of day.

Without breakfast, I can't do anything, or only disasters. I have to eat breakfast as soon as I get up; that can be anywhere between 6:30 and 8:00 a.m., depending on whether the children are going to school or not and whether I slept well.

I would like to change some of my breakfast habits. I have realized that the French custom of eating a sugary breakfast is not good for my body ; I get tired quickly and feel hungry soon after. But I'm not sure what to eat because I can't cook anything until I've eaten. I really need something super easy and quick.
Currently, I drink a cup of hot chocolate made with unsweetened cocoa powder and soy milk. And I eat a chocolate croissant.

sugary and high carb breakfasts do that to me too. I hope you find a good breakfast that works for you soon.

Usually mid to late morning or around lunch time.....mainly because I'm such a night owl so don't get up early.

If it's breakfast & I'm not in a rush then it's scrambled eggs with ham or bacon or a fully loaded omelette with a side of gluten free toast. Recently though I've been doing fruit (a variety of blueberries, strawberries, peaches, nectarines, apricots, cantaloupe depending on availability & sale prices) & either lactose free vanilla yogurt or lactose free Greek yogurt in either vanilla, blueberry or strawberry. If I decide I'd rather just do lunch instead, it's usually either a salad of some sort with either ham or chicken or a sandwich if the gluten free bread isn't too dry.

I'm the same, I function way better with less carbs and more protein. Have been that way for years plus it's actually better for my chronic conditions - hasn't quite translated to my snacking habits yet but figure any meals I can make be more protein focused help

I get up at 5:50 and break my fast around 6:10.

I eat a protein bar while I lift weights so I have energy for my workout.

What do you normally break your fast with? Lately I've been having black cherry yogurt with a bit of granola mixed in. I'm a creature of habit and prefer to eat the same thing every day so I don't have to think too hard.

I started drinking Carnation Instant Breakfast every morning when I was still working and I kept it up when I retired. When I was really sick, I would buy Ensure (which is a nutritional drink) and drink it every morning. I even took Ensure on my 4 bus trip vacations in 2024/2025. I'd drink one in the motel room before going to the continental breakfast. Some hotels do not have good continental breakfasts so I was glad I at least had my Ensure! These days I switch between the Ensure and Instant Breakfast.
 
What sort of time do you break your fast? Sometime between 7:45 and 9:30 am, depending on how early I'm heading out. Always after at least one cup of coffee.
What do you normally break your fast with? I generally have a big smoothie with frozen fruit, water, non-fat greek yogurt, spinach, ginger, lemon, avocado and chia seeds. I've had variations of this for years.
 
I try and wait until at least 10am (from 6pm the night before) I like full fat Greek yoghurt, chia seeds, low carb protein powder and a few berries.

It really varies day to day - today was 10:30am, but some days it's 7am. It really depends what I have going on and how hungry I am.

If I'm being quick I grab a Nugo protein bar and coffee.
Today I had sous vide egg bites from Costco with grape tomatoes and blueberries, plus my coffee. Sometimes I'll have oatmeal or yogurt instead.

I'm incredibly irregular with all of my mealtimes, breakfast being no exception.

Can be 9 or as late as 4 (I suppose in which case it's no longer breakfast!). Depends on how busy I am at work, how I'm feeling and whether there is anything that I am craving! I can't eat or drink straight after brushing my teeth so that's why I don't do breakfast first thing anyhow.

A cup of coffee is usually my first go to. I drink decaf because caffeine makes my tremors worse. If I am eating an early breakfast it will be cereal (Weetabix, Shreddies, Sultana Bran or Porridge). If it's more towards lunch or after then more likely soup, toast, crumpets or sandwiches.

Most days about 8 am. If we get up a bit later, it could be 9-9:30. I have to eat breakfast or I'm a hot mess (really grumpy).

It depends on the day - a smoothie, oatmeal with blueberries or banana, whole grain toast with peanut butter and jam, or a breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs and whatever else is available.

On work days, right around 7:30-7:45 when I get to work. I typically don't eat breakfast on the weekends.

I prep jars of overnight oats, almond milk, and a cherry/berry blend to take with me every day.
