I'm enjoying my mom (a teacher) being off work so I can have a little break. I think I watched more TV between Christmas Eve and now than I have in the past 2 months. I'm also on track to finish book 200 for the year a day ahead of anticipated. (Thank goodness I have a stack of holds from the library to start on next year's reading.)

I should be working on my December album but I'm just making empty PSDs named after what I'm going to scrap eventually and calling it good enough. Maybe some of them can be MOC pages but if not, it'll get done when it gets done. That's my gift to myself for the holidays: resting and letting things go.

I enjoy the time off, but I do always get to the point where I need some normality and routine in my day.
 
I love these days between Christmas and New Years. I always save vacation days so I can be home and do whatever I want. I love that all the planning and shopping and prepping is over and I can work on my craft projects! I got caught up on my DYD journal yesterday and today I'm hoping to do a little painting before we got to friends for dinner and to watch the last of Stranger Things tonight. I have to work on Friday and then I get another weekend already. Lol.
