I need some ideas.
I'm annoyed with my supermarket because of that delivery (they delivered to someone else and I am spending the weekend with an empty fridge!) so I'm going to try another store, before I shop, I would love some ideas -

What is the best ever meal you cook, that everyone loves it, that you cook often? meaning not too complicated or expensive, though I'm inclined on spend for food We have a slow cooker, so if it is a slow cooker recipe, is welcome. :)

I make crock pot chicken which we love. Cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, 1/2 stick of butter, frozen chicken, salt & pepper. Throw in crock pot in morning, cook on low all day. About 2 hours before ready to eat; I take refrigerated biscuits (the kind you buy in pre-rolled packs) and tear/cut them up in small pieces and drop in the crock (like dumplings)

We love it and the most picky eater we have in our grandkids love this chicken.

A simple recipe I make all the time now is bone-in chicken thighs with skin left on. I rub the chicken with olive oil and salt & pepper, then sprinkle generously with a creole spice blend. So simple and easy to thru into the oven or on the BBQ. I love how the skin gets a bit crispy. I serve mine on a bed of greens with vinaigrette and hubs likes cubed potatoes baked with the chicken with the same spice. Easy peasy.

Another easy meal is a deconstructed taco bowl. Brown ground meat, add spices (any kind of creole, tex-mex, tacoblend), add in diced peppers and onions. Fill bowl with beans and/or rice, add browned meat. Toppings can include: crushed tortillas, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese.

I do this one, too!! The family loves it!! I've done it without the biscuits and served over noodles. I've also added a bag of frozen mixed veggies, make the biscuits separately, and it's like chicken pot pie.

Another super easy... pork or chicken with bbq sauce in the crock pot all day...shred the meat when it's done and put on buns for sandwiches.

Another favorite - put cube steaks, onion and 2 Cups water in the crockpot...cook 6 hours or so. In a bowl mix a packet of onion gravy mix, a packet of mushroom gravy mix, and a packet of brown gravy mix with 1 Cup water. Pour it in with the steaks and cook 30 more minutes. Comes out soooo tender and yummy. I do this one with noodles as well.

They didn't re deliver to you? I would be calling the manager as you were charged.. oh I am so sorry that happened to you Cynthia.

I haven't been cooking much at all for years.. CJ likes to cook so he is the chef here now.. I make a lot of ceasar salads with some chicken nuggets :)

A super easy, summer, go-to dinner for us is Chicken Caesar salad. I usually cube up some chicken breast & cook it quickly on the stovetop with a bit of olive oil & italian seasoning. When it's done, I toss it with our favorite caesar dressing (so yummy when it's all warm & melty!) I dump that on some lettuce- lately we've had awesome spinach straight from our garden- sprinkle some parmesan cheese & voila! You can even get easier & buy a rotisserie chicken at the store & shred it up for your salad! ALL of my family eat it- which is a miracle in & of itself! ;)

I'm going to follow this because we are in a rut over here and my boys have become picky eaters

can you get fresh jalapenos in your area?
f6df3e01_Grilled-Jalapeno-Poppers-Recipe-1.xxxlarge_2x.jpg

we used to make a tedious appetizer, called jalapeno poppers. cream cheese filled jalapenos, then wrap in bacon and then bake until bacon is done. YUMMY, but takes forever!
So, due to laziness and the peppers being so cheap, I improvised.
ONE package of cheap bacon cut in small bits.
pan fry until almost crisp
slice jalapenos in bite size and drop into the bacon grease (oh the smell is so yummy)
I add now whatever I have left over for meat or vegi (or both)
hamburger, zuchinni etc?
mix well, then take 1/2 package of cream cheese and cut up put on low and cover so cream cheese melts.
Stir well, add more regular cheese on top if wanted.
Serve with rice for one delishes
Jalapeno Popper Casserole to delight all!

i found a few on my go-to pinterest board that i use over and over:
-my go-to oven risotto (for when i can't stand at the stove stirring for 30mins, you just have to brown the leek (or frozen pre-chopped onion if chopping stuff is difficult) & diced bacon (the deli's here sell it pre-diced) https://au.pinterest.com/pin/75364993743678968/ (we use mozarella as the 'soft' cheese) it makes enough to feed 4 and leftovers for about 2 lunches so you could halve it
-my adaptable foil dinner packets slowcooker recipe (i use this as a jumping off point because no one likes the same sauce or ingredients apart from chicken so i just change what veggies go into each person's foil pouch) https://au.pinterest.com/pin/75364993746065419/
-we also just wrap sweet potatoes or normal potatoes in foil and leave them on low ~7-8hrs or high 4-ish hours and then add pre-packaged coleslaw & dressing over the top or leftover taco mince or shredded chicken and cheese etc https://au.pinterest.com/pin/569916527829365157/

And yeah i get why you are switching supermarkets:disagree - i hope they gave your money back!

Spaghetti pie or cheeseburger pie always get eaten around here. :)

My cheeseburger pie is basically this recipe except that I mix the browned meat up with ketchup (and you can add Worcestershire, too, if you want it to taste more sloppy joe-ish) before it goes in the pie plate + add extra cheese to the Bisquick mix (as well as sprinkle on top of the meat and on top of all of it).

My spaghetti pie is basically this recipe except that I add a layer of cottage cheese to the spaghetti 'crust' before adding the sauce on top and use regular spaghetti sauce vs. making my own:

Oh, and the easiest crockpot recipe ever is Salsa Chicken.

Dump chicken, one jar of salsa, one can of drained black beans, and some frozen corn in crockpot. Cook on low all day. 30 minutes before serving, dump in 1/2 - 1 whole block of cream cheese.

Serve hot over rice, in tortillas, etc.

We do a slow-cooker beef taco that goes down well - mince beef, diced onions, tinned tomatoes, taco seasoning and a splash of water. Cook on slow for 6 hours, then serve in taco boats with sour cream, cheese, iceberg lettuce and chopped tomato.

*I should say that this is the Australian version of taco seasoning - El Paso brand. I have no idea if this is authentic!

We love Mississippi Roast which is done in the crock pot....I'm not a stand over the stove type of gal, so if I can't throw our meal into something and walk away, I'm not making it.

You'll need:

Chuck Roast (3-4 lbs)
1 stick of butter
1 packet of powder Ranch dressing
1 packet of powder Au Jus sauce
Pepperoncinis (as many or as little as you'd like)
Crockpot liner bag...b/c who wants to scrub the pot when you're done cooking??

Place your chuck roast in the crockpot
You can just place the stick of butter in the center of the roast whole, or you can cut into pats and place all over the roast or if you're feeling fancy you can make slits in the roast and place pats inside those...I never get that fancy LOL
Add the ranch
Add the Au Jus
Add the pepperoncinis...I usually use half a jar (do not add the juice)
DO NOT ADD ANY LIQUID

Cook on low for 8-10 hours and BAM dinner is ready!! Serve with whatever side you'd like.

We also like stuffed bell peppers in the crock and undone stuffed cabbage soup...both made without the carbs.

My spaghetti pie is basically this recipe except that I add a layer of cottage cheese to the spaghetti 'crust' before adding the sauce on top and use regular spaghetti sauce vs. making my own:

We love spaghetti pie too! We make this one: https://www.melskitchencafe.com/spaghetti-pie-my-familys-favorite-dinner/

We also adore Butter Chicken around here, even the 7 year old! It may look complicated at first, but it's not. It marinates in a bunch of spices, but then it's cook, simmer, and eat! https://www.plantoeat.com/recipes/125529/

We love mushrooms, so Chicken Breast with Mushroom Sage sauce is another favorite: http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/chicken_breasts_with_mushroom_sage_sauce/ (I deglaze the pan with chicken broth because I don't usually have any wine around).

I'll share one more, if you like pasta, this is delicious! Vodka Pasta from Rachel Ray. It's pretty easy. And you can sub out apple juice for the vodka if you want. https://www.plantoeat.com/recipes/59111/

We pretty much grill everything. My favorite is cilantro lime chicken.
To help prep for the week, I throw a marinade on all the meat (chicken, steak, pork chops, tofu) in plastic bags then freeze it. The night before, take the meat out to defrost and throw on the grill in the evening. You can grill/steam veggies and quick bake some sweet potatoes/yellow potatoes. I have also just served the grilled meat with a side salad. No extra carbs needed.
My husbands favorite meal though is pan fried bone in thin cut pork chops. Just season with salt and pepper, dip in egg, then bread crumbs and fry. I usually oven roast potatoes and serve with homemade garlic butter spinach.

But the grill is my best friend. I eat clean (no white carbs, minimal sugar/salt...) and this allows me to stay true to my healthy eating while still pleasing the family. :yesss
