I stand around all day, minding my own business.
Staying on the straight and narrow.
All upright and supportive and no one notices me!
Even while they are leaning on me,depending on me to keep a roof over their head.
Then one day I get a little bent. A bit twisted and the cracks start showing and suddenly everyone is staring at me, poking me and taking photos.
So what! I’m tired!
We all need a bit of filler or a lift eventually.
I’ve a good mind to show them what I’m made of.
I’ll make them look up to me.
I’ll stand my ground.
No one can tear me down to their level!

This is a map of our daily school run and in a way it's also mapping out the way our routine has changed just this week with my eldest starting high school and catching a bus for the first time. We haven't had one smooth successful bus run yet!
