Today is Banana Cream Pie Day! I really love Banana Cream Pie and it's my hubby's favorite, but it's been a long time since I have made or bought one. I need to remedy that soon! Pies, in general, are a favorite dessert of mine. I will take pie over cake every time. The only pie I really don't care for is peanut butter pie and key lime is probably my very favorite. Do you like banana cream pie? Do you ever make it? Do you have another favorite pie?

Do you like banana cream pie? That would be a hard no for me. Banana is one of my least favorite flavors, and that paired with the texture is just not my thing. Do you ever make it? No Do you have another favorite pie? Probably key lime. I like a good cherry, apple, or strawberry-rhubarb as well. I miss my mom's pie crust. It was so light and flaky. It was so delicate though, that rolling it out was almost always an exercise in extreme frustration for her.

My favorite is cherry, but it’s hard to find sour cherries anymore. My grandson loves key lime pie, so I tend to make it frequently. I will make Banoffee pie in a couple weeks for St. Patrick’s day.

I’m not a big pie fan but I do love banana cream. It’s also DH’s favorite so we have it at restaurants pretty often. I have made it at home too.
I feel like I missed out yesterday!! Definitely could have been a good excuse to get some good banana cream pie!! I love banana cream pie!! I have not tried making it, but could definitely see myself trying it in the future, and I am dessert girl...so will take pie or cake!
