August Monthly Muse- Week#2 - BLENDED FAUNA

This week we are going to continue the FAUNA theme but I have 1... ok, 2 twists!

1. You will be making a page where either you have an animal feature blended to a person (must be a picture) or an animal (like my example) has a human feature blended to it (from a picture).
example: In my case there is a very cool giraffe with my eyes and glasses. (In this case I had to add the eye because the glasses alone are not a human feature.) The human blended feature or the HUMAN base MUST be from a picture and not a human/person element in a kit.

2. You must blend another animal into whatever comes out from step #1. This animal you are blending can be a kit element or picture or whatever as long as is an animal. My example has the parrot body.

Have fun! I know this one is really out of the box and maybe out of your comfort zone but the reason behind it is to have you trying things you wouldn't even think of it and see what works and what doesn't! ENJOY LIFE!




Remember to follow the rules for uploading into the Gallery. You can do any style. Upload to the our Art Journaling Gallery. Have fun!!!

 

I might even record myself doing the page. Hopefully that will help, the problem with recording is that I don't want you gals to think YOU HAVE to do it this way.

 

There are two parts in the challenge. ONE either you start with an animal and add a human feature or start with a human and add an animal feature. SECOND you must blend an animal to whatever you end up from step #1. Does that help? Step ONE must have a picture of a person to grab the feature from or start as the base.
