Are you ever tempted... | pad patter 5.15.17

@keepscrappin :highfive ::SUPER hug!!!:: I need at least ten hugs a day, or I wither away. (it's a poem I use on my son. hehe!) I looooove hugs!

I hope you find the balance that's right for you. Maybe start a layout, then take a break when you get stumped or frustrated, clean for a tiny bit, come back, work s'more, then take a break and clean? It's like you're forcing yourself to stop and scrap, but it's a good thing, so you'll WANT to scrap and then it'll help drag your cleaning sessions out so you're still doing the two hours of cleaning, just at a rate you don't have to pay for hard later.

I have a reaaaaaally bad habit of writing checks my body cannot cash. Then me and my inner voice get into the:
:usuck game until I start saying it out loud, then the cats look at me funny and I feel even more weird and then I start doing the OTHER game with my inner voice: :ignore

I figure it's okay to argue with my inner voices, it's just bad if I start going "Hmm?" to them. THEN we have a problem... :hide

My 3yo crawls into bed with us every single night and then sleeps smashed up against me. Ugh. I'm constantly exhausted.

His optimum napping time is at the same time that we have to leave to go pick up my daughter from school so I have to either put him down earlier and he sleeps 30-45 minutes (not long enough for me to take a nap) or let him sleep in the van on the way to school (and I obviously can't nap while I'm driving).

Now that it's almost summer, I'll be able to shove them outside with their dad after dinner & nap then sometimes.

My mom used to do that. I remember once coming back home after I found out the first few lessons were cancelled and found her sound asleep in bed again!
From that moment on I told her to not get up for me in the morning. I was old enough to get up by myself and knowing she would go back to bed was more annoying then her just staying in bed. Lol!

If I would be in a situation like that, I would absolutely do that myself as well, though.
However, I have to get up to get to work most days so no choice in that.
And as I live alone, during the weekends or vacations I am known to sleep in. Or just start my day super slowly by checking social media, reading, etc. And why not? If that makes me happy, than I do not see a problem in that.
