Collector on the edge of hoarder hahahaha... I have so much stuff, but everything is neatly packed and in boxes or cupboards. I do LOVE to collect vintage and old ephemera. Whenever we go to France we make sure to visit at least one antiques store to get some ephemera. I remember that a couple of years ago we came across an antiques store, you cannot even call it a store, it was more a barn and it was very dirty. But wow, I was able to purchase a real treasure! This man had loads of sheet music books that he had put aside for a guy from The Netherlands that came every year, but this year, he hadn't seen the man yet and he said I could have the collection. At the same time I purchased a really old worn cookbook, testaments, legal papers, school documents, architecture documents and so much more. We came home to the gîte and I remember feeling ecstatic about everything I had been able to collect, and really, for so little money.
All I need is a few extra hours a day to finally scan it all and actually start using it. They are now packed in an old vintage suitcase (something else I like to collect and I actually use them!) in my living room. Actually I needed two old suitcases to put everything in.

Tell your husband he cannot call it hoarding until you have 22 book cases like we do. LOL

Wow, I would never fit 22 bookcases in my tiny house. Not unless I evict my teenage son and take over his bedroom. I have put myself on a book buying ban until I have cleared some of the bookcase, because I have no spare space to store anymore books.
