Welcome to the April 2023 Inspiration Challenge! Even though it's April and we should be seeing spring weather, it's still been snowing here in Utah. You may think that's an April Fools' joke, but sadly it's NOT. We got slammed with over 8 inches of snow in the valley earlier this week, and had to move school to remote learning. Since we're stuck inside for remote learning, that got me thinking about high school. Did you have a notebook that had doodles all over it? I did, and my high schooler DD does too. So let's have some fun with doodles on our layouts today, while we wish the snow away! For the April Inspiration Challenge, I want you to use 3 or more different doodles on your page. The Lilypad store is filled with all kinds of doodles here, so you're sure to find something that suits your fancy. My example: I used the following doodles: frame x's & o's scribble Challenge: Create a new layout featuring 3 or more different doodles. Please list the different doodles you used for easier tracking. Gentle Reminder: Your page must contain at least 75% Lilypad product. Your page should be posted to the Lilypad Gallery and then linked to the April Challenge Layouts thread so it can be tracked, and to this thread (please use the share BB IMG code found on the right side of the gallery). The Lilypad uses a percent system for our challenges; the number of challenges you participate in determines the store discount you will receive at the end of the month: 2 challenges = 10% off 4 challenges = 20% off 6 challenges = 30% off If you complete 7 challenges, you will receive a coupon for 30% off, plus you will be entered to win a $50 gift certificate from the Lilypad! The first seven challenges will be posted on the first of the month; the eighth challenge is the BYOC challenge, which is posted on BYOC release day. Each page counts for one challenge (you cannot use one layout for multiple challenges). I can't wait to see your doodled creations! Until then, take care and keep scrappin!
My sweet little grandson, this was his St. Patty's day outfit, so cute. Credits in gallery, perfect collection for 'doodles'.
Thanks @keepscrappin for this challenge. I had a lot of fun. The sentence under the photo: This manor house at the Château de Chaumont would be enough for me...!
This may not count because I'd already made the page before I realized that the two of the doodles I used from a Little Butterfly Wings kit is no longer in the Lilypad Store. I feel like that should count -- it's so hard to keep my tagging up to date so I know which products count as Lilypad when I choose them! I used the border, and flower doodles from the Little Butterfly Wings Oh Fun! Doodles and Mandalas kit that I purchased from Lilypad. I used the heart transfer doodles from the Lilypad Collab LoveyDovey kit, and a doodle frame from Katie Pertiet.
