Any Doctor Who fans here?

I was sucked into the phenomenon that is Doctor Who.

Welcome, new Whovian. :)

I'm glad the girls were in bed for it last night, and actually STAYED in bed, so we could watch the whole show in peace. I could hardly take my eyes off the screen!

I'm now watching Graham Norton cuz David Tennant (yum) and Matt Smith are about to be on. :woot

That was so great too! I loved when Graham told David Tennant that wasn't a good look LOL!!!

I'm watching the Matt Smith episode of the Doctor Revisited. I'm not ready for him to go!

we watched it yesterday here, was indeed ...epic? LOL
In here we had a whole after party program with all the companions and people who had partoicipated, plus Doctors 5 , 6 & 7 ,
then there was a program that went through all doctors one by one, companions, and had interviews with people now, talki ng about their passage through the program...it was amazing....

Doctors 5 6 & 7 are making a special mini series, they showed a bit if that too, I m so looking forward now to The Xmas special...!!!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE GRaham Norton all the time, needless to say with the Doctors...couldn't watch it toiday as am helping Sarita with her stuff for personal statement for the audition to Uni, but we have catch up Tv so can watchj it in thje week, looking forwrad to that too, :)

LOL, that was funny (and quite true, IMHO)! And I'm not ready for Matt to go, either. But I'm trying to keep an open mind (as I've always tried when the Doctor regenerates).

Oh, and I totally LOLed when that comedian asked the guy getting the autograph-for-a-tattoo "What's it going to be like to kiss a woman?" and the guy answered "I'm married to the Dalek." Bwahahaha!

So if you've already seen the 50th, you have to watch the Five(ish) Doctors! It's half-hour but worth it. Really adorable and it covers just about anything that might have been missing!

I may have had a sneak preview. :)

The 3D show was pretty amazing. It was so cool to see it on the big screen in a room full of fans. Lots of people were cosplaying. I had y sonic screwdriver and bowtie! And there were really cute intros featuring a Sontaran and then Matt and David had a little clip telling you to put on the 3D glasses. After the showing, there was a making of special too. It was such a great night!

I can't believe I missed this thread until now! Doctor Who is my favourite show, we saw the 50th episode in the cinema, in 3D. When they dimmed the lights at first all we could see and hear was all the sonic screwdrivers goes off in the audience - such fun!! Everyone applauded at the end, it was wonderful to watch it with so many other fans! I gave a little squeal when Tom Baker (the first doctor I really remember) made an appearance at the end! And now I feel the need to go and watch it all over again :D

Dear Kate, I love you!

Robin you are so cute!! I never saw Dr Who but loved this set of Kate's doodles.. I had no idea that it was so popular here in the states and while googling, I found at the beginning of November on Long Island, NY (where I grew up) they had a "Whovian" convention... wow I had fun doing my layout for Kate with some of the pics from that convention but it really shocked me how many here in the states Love this show! I am going to have to check it out on BBC America channel one night!! :)
