    Definitely, it will work! I often ask my kids (now 14, 12, and 9) to tell me what's happening in a photo to help me caption it, and they usually come through with details I never would have been able to include with my feeble memory alone.

    I am a hoarder of blank books/journals. I always think I'm going to carry one around with me and use it daily. Things start out strong, but dwindle quickly. I've been using the Daily Diary website for a long while now to email summaries of the day or funny things that are said. It has been a blessing in trying to play catch-up on PL. I do like the idea of asking my kids to tell me about a photo and see what comes out of their mouths :)
