Am I the only one...

Laura, I totally agree with that philosophy. I haven't been at this a very long time and I spend hours organizing and pouring over all my stuff. I have a studio upstairs filled with actual papers and objects that I organized and gazed at and now it's digital too. Good thing I can't do this at work!

That is why I am thankful every day that it IS my work. Otherwise, I would be in big trouble. LOL

Yes, to all that's been said. I totally hoard and used to buy even when I knew I would never get around to scrapping with it. The only good thing about it....at least it's digital and doesn't make a mess! I've gotten rid of 60-70% of the things I purchased when I was paper scrapping (I mean shopping) and my SCRAPBOOK ROOM is still so overflowing that I WON'T GO IN IT! A whole room that's supposed to be my space...turned into a junk room. I yanked my computer out and never looked back! Some day I am really going to have to go back in there....

i have a ton of stuff i've never used. it's sad really. and i rarely EVER delete stuff. i should.
in my fantasy world, i have every intention of sitting down and adding all of my stuff to my photo organizer so that i can search by what i'm looking for and all of my options will pop up. in reality, i would need to have zach's super power from saved by the bell to pause everything that's going on around me while i can keep moving in order to get that done. not. gonna. happen. *sigh* but i hang on to the intention anyway. maybe someday. right?

I rage boxed most of mine up and gave it to friends / the daycare center. Just kept what I LOVED and what fit in the room. I'm still probably never going to use it, but at least it's tidy in there. :rofl

I was in that same place a couple of years ago, and I decided I had way too much stuff that I actually LIKED to keep collecting and not using, so I made a written list of my unused kits and started crossing them off as I used them (I LOVE crossing things off a list!). I also deleted old stuff that didn't make me happy.

I also write down my purchases so that i can stick to my budget; $30 goes REALLY faster than it actually FEELS like it's going, lol, so writing it down makes me ask myself, "Do I want this badly enough to do without something else later this month?" Then I can still check off my new purchases as I use them.

I have 7 unused kits from this year AND last year that I still need to use. Considering that when I started keeping track a couple of years ago, I had 54, I feel pretty good about seven!
