who has tons, and I really mean tons of unused kits on their computer, but still has to buy more pretty much every week? LOL. I think I'm kind of out of control!

I've curbed my new purchases, but I still have a ton of unused kits. I was going to pledge to use one a week for the next year, and then realized I wouldn't even use half of them by doing that!

tons i have tons and tons.... .and tons. sigh.
and i'm such a pick and chooser vs a kit scrapper, i keep things for bits and pieces.

I have tons and tons too! I have been making an effort to keep track of what I've been buying and use it, but the list just keeps growing! Too much nice stuff to keep buying! :)

I have a feeling you'll find lost of sympathizers here! I feel so guilty about this, but at the same time I just can't bring myself to delete all the pretty things I want to use. Sometimes I wish there weren't so much gorgeousness being released every. single. week!

I rarely buy now but I do have loads,so much that my external hard drive will need sorting soon and transferring to my other one so ya not alone

I'm pretty good about only buying what I am going to use immediately, BUT... oy do I need to delete some old ones. I have pretty much every kit I've bought since... ever.

Well, thanks for making me feel better ladies!! I've been thinking that I'm going to have to make myself use 5 old kits before I can buy 1 new one. I know that 5 is a lot, but I have so many I think I need a serious intervention to actually scrap with it all. I know telling myself I cannot buy won't work - I can't resist. So hopefully this will make me actually earn those new kits!

Angie - until a month ago I had every kit I'd ever bought and all my CT kits as well. I went through again yesterday and deleted a ton of old CT kits that I know I won't go back to, but I cannot bring myself to delete anything that I've bought. I also went and made folders for Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's, and birthday kits and started adding the previews of all matching kits to those folders so I won't forget about any next year when (I imagine) I'll have at least double the amount of kits I do now - yikes!

Like Angie - I've gotten pretty good at only buying what I'm going to use immediately. But I really need to clean out old kits because I have a ton from when I first started that I'll never, ever use.

Nope, you aren't the only one..lol! It's an addiction, I tell ya! LOL!

Raises hand, saying YES! My name is Stacy and I have WAY TOO MANY digi kits and I have no intention of stopping now. It seems like my style is evolving and some things just won't work with it and new stuff is just perfect and I have to have them.

However I do go through my stash periodically and get rid of things that I don't think I'll ever use again. I'm currently up to the letter O in my latest go round of evaluation/deletion.

Wow Stacy! I bow down to your self-control! :notworthy Will you come and delete all the old crap...er, I mean old beauties that no longer float my boat....off my ehd? :giggle

My problem is I think "I might need something off this someday." When in reality, I go buy something new that looks the same :whistle

I think this goes hand-in-hand with buying a kit for one element...:carryon

Have you seen the evolution of a digi scrapper image? It came from Pickleberry Pop a couple years back.

That is a great graphic, Carolee.

I am such a hoarder. Ugh. But I also am still using the excuse that I've moved to TLP now, so I have to have kits from the designers here. I can't tell you how many I have from the last site I frequented. It is horrid, but at least I really only find myself having to have one designer's kits from that store now and I keep hoping she'll just move over here. LOL. Here, I can't even try to trick myself into not buying or telling myself I have to use x-number of kits before buying a new one. I just have no willpower. And I am one that can always rationalize it when it is on sale. LOL. I keep thinking that the designers here have to have an off-week pretty soon so I won't have to buy anything, but so far, I haven't experienced that. :p

I was proud of myself for going through my old EHD and deleting most of the stuff I bought back in 2004-06, but my current EHD is full now and I'm going to have to start on a new one. Ugh. At least DH can't see *this* hoard. ;)

That is cute Carolee! And seems true! Though I'm still hoarding and it has been more than 6 months, LOL. I don't think that part will stop soon.

I've always thought that digi is actually two hobbies:

1. collecting/hoarding supplies

2. actually scrapping

I go through periods where I am doing way too much collecting and not enough scrapping, but then I will get a burst of inspiration and use all my new stuff.... so the hoarding starts again. Vicious cycle! :giggle

I just changed my paypal password again to keep me from buying stuff easily! I type some random letters and numbers into a text file and then hide that on my laptop. It makes it harder for me to shop from my phone or while I'm at work! LOL!!!!
