So, I bought quite a few kits recently, and none of them have alphas. I'm kind of bummed about that. So my question is, what is your go-to alpha?

A lot of Kim Jensen alphas.. the crumpled paper and rustic ones i really like

There are a lot of great alphas, I guess a lot depends on your scrapping style. I find that the store collabs usually have a good selection, so you should check what you already have in there (it's easy to overlook scrapping with the collabs after a while).

I do like the inked/stamped/painted style alphas though, examples:

I'm very lazy when it comes to titles though. I have a tendancy to use either word art or fonts with styles, such as those by Mommyish, applied.

Another thought .... Just Jaimee also has great alphas especially in her larger/older storyteller collections some of which are in her store

Agreed. Scrapping style definitely influences my alpha choices, as does versatility & ease of use. I'm not great at recolouring certain colours so if I find an alpha I like in a colour I want & it works with the rest of my layout, I'm more likely to go with it.

Ooh, yes. Store collabs are a good shout too. There's almost always an alpha or two in them. And yes, I'm also guilty of not diving into them often enough either.

oh that's like picking your favorite child. :giggle

Did you know if you go to the shop and select a designer, you can click to see all their alphas and fonts in the categories down the left side?

The alpha & fonts section also has categories so you can find the style you're looking for more easily.

Thank you all so much for your recommendations! I added a few to my wish list and bought another bundle (Thanks so much for all of the sales!) of Sahlin Studio's with these alphas:

Good choice! I love the note about them being easy to recolor. I have done that to get an alpha closer to what I need for a kit.

I'm a little late to the enabling party but I am still obsessed with these from ninigoesdigi
