I recently discovered that the Affinity 2 Custom Shapes Tool includes a QR code generator. It's included in all 3 programs, and the steps are the same for Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo. I am going to be using Affinity Designer in this example.

Go to the toolbar and choose the custom shapes tool (by default the last custom shape you used will be the tool's icon).

Click on the dropdown arrow and choose QR code
    QRcode2.jpg
Draw the code onto your page
Look at the context tool bar, you can edit the colour and the datalink.
    QRcode3.jpg
    click on the data link.
By default the QR code points to the Serif Website.
    QRcode4.jpg
Paste the link you want to use. In this example I have created a QR code pointing to the Lilypad Forum.

You can move, resize and crop papers to the QR code in the same way you can any other custom shape.
