Actions...

I have a bunch - TRA, Florabella, PTM and M4H. I find that I use RadLab mostly now - it is the most user friendly and allows me to combine/customize more than any action can.

guess it's time to look into RadLab again. i eyed it when it first came out.... the new Florabella pack is quite nice.

I don't use any actions anymore..just VSCO. It's a lightroom plug in that actually changes your camera profile (you have to shoot RAW to use them). They emulate film, it changed my world...I'm not even kidding.

I'd love to see some examples if you have the time Kelly!

Everything here was processed with VSCO (the photos are small-ish so click on them to see the flickr version)

You have to at least like grain, there is a whole tool kit that comes with them which will give you the option of turning the grain off but the pictures then look super smooth which I don't like. It's not for everyone but it's the closest thing to film I've seen out there and I personally just love that look. If I was a better photographer I would fly out to one of Jonathan Canlas's FIND workshops but I'm not soooo VSCO will have to do :)

I heard them rave about RadLab on the Digishow a while back and did the trial. Loved it SOOOOOOOO much, I grabbed it when they had the mother's day special. seriously awesome set of actions! love them. pretty much never use any others now!

Oh, i've been eyeing these although honestly, I should know by now that LR sets don't generally work for me. I've spent way too much money figuring that out. ;)
