what action sets are your favorites? i know some of you are to the point that you really don't use them; however, i'm not one of those with those kinds of mad skills.

i have LR, but i still find myself using PS for everything (most likely because i haven't had/made the time to really learn LR). :dizzy

i use actions all the time too ... and most of the time it's one of annie's (paint the moon) ... although i have all of gina's that used to be in the shop and one of hers (glistening bubbles, i think) is fab for a crisp, clean look ...

i need to figure out a way to organize my actions - because i just spend a few minutes clicking on random names until i get one that i think looks OK - there must be a better way to know which each one does in advance ...

I use freebies from Annie, like Dana. I also have a ton from Sarah (My Four Hens).
I sometimes use freebies from The CoffeeShop Blog. :)

I love actions, lol. I don't know that I'll ever edit completely on my own. ;)

Most times I do basic edits myself and lately I've been using the Fairhaven and Evolution set by My4Hens. I have too many phases to have just one thing I like..lol! Sometimes I want light and airy and other times I want deep, bold color.

LR takes time to get used to. When I have a group of photos (especially our vacation photos) I use LR to batch edit. I copy and paste whatever settings I'm using and tweak for each photo.

I think Rad Lab is awesome. I don't have it (I have done the trial though)...I would really like to get it.

Let's see. I use the free PSE actions from Pioneer Woman; sometimes use actions from the Coffeeshop Blog; Charmbox Studio over at The Digichick; I also sometimes go searching for actions that are supposedly only for the full version of Photoshop, add them to PSE, and they work fine, esp the ones by David Nanchin (I just can't adjust them). Also, I have a good selection of PNG filters that I sometimes will go into and use. Most of the actions I buy or find come in Photoshop versions, which is the default program. Oh yeah--Everyday Elements has some good actions, too.

I use TRA 2 "The Revenge" and also Fable and Happenstance from My4Hens. That's about it. I'd like to get Rad Lab at some point but it's like I already paid $149 for TRA2 back in the day, and I think the TRA Lightroom presets cost me $100, so to spend another $150 annoys me a bit. LOL

I've been considering something like this for my Christmas list. I'll have to check at home and see which ones I actually use (of the bunch I've downloaded).

Turns out I have 3 different kinds of My Four Hens actions and a bunch of the Coffeeshop and Pioneer Woman free actions.

I am so bad about editting my photos. I get so wrapped up in making my pretty pages that I forget to take care of my pictures too. My favorites are the Matchstick B&W actions from M4Hs.

RadLab is all I have been using since November. It's such a time saver for me!

I'm with Cristina as Radlab has everything in there you'd ever need. A couple of new ones got released with the last update but I do love my Pioneer Woman and My 4 Hens ones too. Love anything that gives me a cross-processed look.

I have waaaaay too much of sarah's actions, but honestly don't use them enough! I should though :D Oh and sorting them sounds like a great plan!

I use the Pioneer Woman ones (a select few gets used over and over) and some My 4 Hens ones. I don't know if my photography style is just very different from hers, though, or what - because I'm in love with the actions on her website but a lot of them just don't work well with my pictures. I tend to have my favorite 2-3 from each set and rarely touch the others. I have 3 or 4 sets of hers and I use them on almost every picture I take (well, I usually run PW's boost action first, then I mess around with the M4H ones)

I use florabella's actions (I think I have almost all of them) and ProRetouch from Totally Rad. Can't live without them! I have Radlab but I just haven't figured out how to make it work the way that I can when I'm doing selective editing. Frustrating because everyone always raves about it!

My favorites are from On The Spot Studio though she doesn't really make many any more and I can no longer even find them on her actual website.

Florabella's. I want her classic workflow, but use her milk action from luxe on nearly every photo.
