I know there is probably a setting but I want to change the initial folder that appears when I open ACDSee Photomanager to a different folder but can't see where to change the setting. Can anyone help me? It's annoying me because once upon a time I knew where the setting is and of course now that I want to change it again, I can't find it.

Thanks @cfile , I've got an older version than that and without knowing the name of what I am trying to do its very hard to figure it out. I can usually google my way through situations but not this time!
Try googling the version you have for the help. I am sure the version is still out on the web for help.
Wish it was as simple as that....I have the help website for my version but I genuinely don't know what to search for....that is more of my problem than anything else
@littlekiwi I'm using ACDSee 18. To change the start folder Tools Menu - Options (at the bottom of the menu list) In the dialog choose Manage Mode. I've got mine set to open with the most recent folder. To change that to a specific folder, uncheck that tick box and type the folder you want in the Home Folder. See below
