Hi there, my name is Stefanie and for quite a few years my username here was Eyeore, just because I love Eyeore and Winnie the Pooh. I have been married to Andrew for nearly 37 years, we have three adult children, one of whom is married. We have three cats and live in Cape Town, South Africa. We love to travel and take day trips to new locales.

I started paper scrapbooking in 2003 and was instantly hooked. The magic of pairing photos and words is what fills my heart with happiness. I used to have a little Scrapbooking business where I taught classes from home and sold some supplies. I don't remember when I started with digi, but I wanted to add some brushes to a photo and then took some classes and bought PSE 12. I especially love multi-photo layouts.

As the children grew up and were hesitant about me sharing their lives, I kept the stories and journaling more private and for our albums at home. What I have noticed though is they always read what I have written, so journaling remains important to me.

I take most of my photos with my phone, although I do have a Nikon which I take out for safaris and travels when a larger zoom is needed.
 
I love learning more about you my friend... I especially love your pages that are filled with your wonderful photos of your "neck of the woods". Your Safari photos are amazing with those fantastic animal photos and I love that you and Andrew have a beautiful and tight knit family. Even though the kids are grown up now, you all still make time to see each other. Your pages always make me smile, and I am so thrilled to call you my friend! Hugs!
 
Hello! Loving these reintros and getting to know a bit more! I need to journal more...i tend to stick to dates, places and a few tid bits.

It is so good to see all these re-introductions. I remember when you first became a Polly which you so truly deserved with your great talent.
 
I loved learning how you got into digi scrappin! You are the sweetest gal around. Your gallery comments are one thing I remember I loved about TLP when I came here.They always make me feel special about my pages and I enjoy and appreciate each one! :heartslub
 
Oh my goodness, it's fascinating to learn more about you, Stefanie! For some reason, the fact that you live in South Africa completely surprised me. TLP is truly a scrapbooking UN, LOL.

I didn't know you used to teach scrapbooking and had a business around it. That's so cool! It was great reading a bit more about you and I'm so glad you're here! :)
