Thank goodness for a well-trained lifeguard who was present and diligent, buoyed up by all the prayers to keep going. I'm sure he was rattled that she was in that condition on his watch, but thankful that the prayers moved him past that to just focusing on her and her recovery. There are so many prayers that are prayed without a good result (in our opinions), so it's always delightful to hear of an answered prayer wherein life can be celebrated. I'm so glad you shared. Like others have said, so much evil and sadness is happening around us, and it's always a good thing to hear about a miracle happening among us.
