Oh Laura.....I'm so deeply sorry for you loss. I'm also so happy that you got to spend that special time with her and pour out all the goodness of your heart and shower her with your love. I'm sure that meant so much to her.....Lots of love to you and your family. *hugs*

Dear Laura, so sorry for your loss. How beautiful a gift to be able to spend your grandmother's last few minutes with her and keeping her company and sending her off with love. I hope that will be a comfort to you in the days ahead.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful and difficult part of your life . What a blessing it was for your Grandma to see her SweePea and to have you there with her as she made that last journey. In Hospice work they call that being a doula for the dying as you help them birth into the next stage. But your poor Grandpa. What a hole in his heart he must have to not have his 'bride' with him anymore. :( Love to all of you and peace, in time.

So sorry for your loss....I know I am writing this late, so by now I hope you have been strong and have also had some time to start grieving yourself. Glad you flew right away and go to see her:)

I am so sorry for your loss, Laura. But am so glad that you were able to make it to her side and talk with her for that brief time. She definitely was waiting for you. Your family, and especially you grandfather are in my thoughts as you go through this difficult time. (((Hugs)))

I talked to her and told her how much we all loved her...that she was the very best mom, grandma and great-grandmother. I prayed over her and did my best to reassure her with my words and my voice. She never looked away from my eyes and I never let go of her hand. She passed away about 15 minutes later. It was both a terrible and wonderful privilege to be the only one with her as she passed from this world into the next.
