A Little Life

I warned you (or I tried to). Seriously though, I will never be able to say enough good things about this book.

I really want to . . . but it's been an emotional start to the year, and it's probably not a good idea. I cry at commercials, so I'd likely flood the house out with my crying at this book. Maybe I'll try it during the summer! Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm such a cry baby. The kids and I are also reading Wonder right now and I cry...the kids must think I'm weird.

My daughter is like her dad . . . rarely cries. She sat through Downtown Abbey with me, and I was bawling. She didn't shed a tear. It takes quite a bit to make her cry. My son, on the other hand, poor thing, is like me and will cry at the drop of a hat. Yes, daughter does make fun of me, too. My son gets me, though. LOL

I just bought it...and I can get a narration? Do you think it would be worth it? just pondering?

So worth it. It is not easy to read - it's raw, and brutal, and heartbreaking. But truly a spectacular book. How much detail do you want?

Okay, I didn't realize you were doing audio. Still worth plugging through. I had to know what happened to everyone.
