It's been sort of a whirlwind kind of day, but in a really good way! Some of my favorite things happened today!
1. Daylight Savings! It's my favorite time of the year! I absolutely love the extra daylight in the evening!! I lose all motivation when the sun goes down.
2. It's Pi Day! I love math and I love Pie, so what better day!
3. Our favorite frozen custard place opened back up for the season and we got there about 20 minutes after they opened their doors!! It's been a long 5 months! I had an amazing banana split! Back to healthy tomorrow :giggle

Now I want to know, what are some of your favorite things right now! What's making you happy??

1) Backblaze finally being done!
2) Cooler weather - I hate super hot weather so this time of year is perfect
3) Feeling better after my fall last week
and 4) It's the start of a new week....thinking positive (going to ignore the fact I woke up to 3 job rejection emails by 9am....well actually the company withdrew the positions)

Yay for pi day! I, too, love math and pie! We had homemade pizza pie already and we'll have tart cherry pie later (and maybe apple if I get off the couch).

Glad you are feeling better!!
Awww I wouldn't count those as rejections, more like maybe laters :) Glad you're thinking positive, keep it up! Your time is coming!!

We had pizza pie for dinner, too! And oooooh I love tart cherry pie!! Yum!!!!

i admit i forgot about pi day this year (and technically we don't write the date that way so it's not obvious to me) but school had a pie drive fundraiser so we ordered an apple pie today, which we'll get late next week

there's a 2nd hand book fair near us this weekend (it's usually twice a year but the March one last year obviously got cancelled) so i'm looking forward to that

I still count it as a ‘no’ with the reason being they withdrew the positions but I’ll move onwards and upwards....it’s not my first no in this race!

I totally forgot about pi day this year and only remembered in the evening when I got a pop up notification from Dominos trying to convince me to buy a pizza from them to celebrate the day. Lol. Usually my kids remind me because they usually get some extra credit assignment from their math teachers to celebrate the day. My youngest is even in geometry this year and he didn't have anything. Darn... I like when they "have" to make a pie.

A week ago my favorite van life vloggers, Eamon & Bec interviewed another couple of tiny home vloggers, Tyler & Todd and I've been enjoying watching their videos chronologically from the beginning, which was autumn of 2019. I've just reached the point at which they had to abandon their trip across the U.S. and return to their home country, Canada, at the beginning of the pandemic. They're fixing up a tiny cabin in the woods of Novia Scotia to live in until they can get back to their travels. They are very sweet and funny and I get a break from my own stresses/anxieties/worries while watching them. :love

I don’t like math but I do love pie! Especially cherry, pumpkin or pecan.
Mmmm cherry! I'm not so much a lover of pumpkin or pecan, but I do love a good cherry pie!
Not many people I meet like math lol

Ohhh book fairs!! I miss them!! I love just looking and touching all the books!! I hope we have one come around this year!

We used to have a math teacher who would bring in pies for all her classes on Pi Day. I loved when I was co-teaching in her class :giggle

I need to check them out. I love watching van life people and tiny home people! I keep saying that I'm going to get a tiny home someday, but actually two of them next to each other...one for me and one for DH :giggle. That way we each have our own little space but can still see each other when we want.

I don't like math!!! Go figure - I married an engineer. He's totally math oriented.

I love DST and we have Peach Cobbler for desert - from The Pie Shop (yes, they have more than mere humble pies). It's SO amazing with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!!!
