As an avid board gamer and memory keeper I have to say I'm super intrigued by this game that is being released next month (I think it may already be available in Dutch but not English at the moment). It doesn't look like so much of a game as it is a storytelling activity. I'm super interested to see what the mechanisms of gameplay are but mostly I'm thinking it would be a super interesting activity to do with my family.

What do you think? Would y'all play something like this?

OOh!! I would absolutely LOVE this!! I hope you can get it in the USA!! Thanks so much for sharing this, Sarah!

I like the idea of storytelling prompts, but the structure seems contrived to me. Like they wanted so much to make it into a "board game" that it stopped making any sense. It's really just a subject and an age, but you need a (huge) spinner, a colored die, a numbered die, and a chart to figure out those two things. Why not just two decks of cards? Or an app? The inefficiency bugs me.

I like the idea but just like Lorry, I don't like the design and practicality. I actually think it looks quite ugly too. They claim that lots of people are already playing it, but I've never seen or heard about it and I'm from the Netherlands. Not something I would buy.

https://www.360stories.co.uk/ says an English version will be released although it doesn't say if US or just Europe. Reminds me of when I started repurposing a monopoly game to tell our family story, but never finished. Wonder if I still have the notes for that?

Get on it, Carilyne! That sounds cool.

I dated an inventor/scientist for awhile years and years ago. We started to develop a board game based on stories and different rooms and the pieces were based on intricate antique doorknobs. But then we split up and he went back to designing robots and cars that drive themselves. :/

I love the idea of a storytelling game. My hubby would never play though. LOL.
