To the big day so are we all ready or are we running round like headless chickens? Im ready all i have to do is fetch the fresh stuff some time tomorrow,get the boys haircuts tomorrow and then were going to the cinema to see a christmas carol so are you all ready and what little bits are left for you to do ?
Oh my, yes! I finished wrapping all of the extended family gifts last night, now tonight we have my husbands work holiday party and tomorrow I have to get the kids pressies wrapped, and then defrost the ham, start cooking, cleaning for Christmas dinner! Yikes! Hoping to enjoy a bit of egg nog somewhere in there too. ;0)
I think I have one more grocery store trip and then I'll be ready... I'm not hosting a Christmas dinner on Christmas Day since I'm working but we are having a brunch of sorts... hoping everyone has a great holiday!
-I need to get to the grocery store (thought I was good until tonight with activites going on until the weekend, but now with the storm, we might need some food in the house) -I need one more gift for Kyra but I know exactly what and where that is -santa gifts need to be wrapped -one more calendar needs to be created and then both need to be printed and bound (I'm a last minute kind of girl) -I need to whip up 2 necklace and earring sets (once again...last minute) -we are going to make gingerbread people tomorrow, and I'd love to bake up another batch or two of goodies -I'm making 3 different popcorn/chex mix type of things for gifts but I'm waiting for the last minute to make them so they don't get stale. -and somewhere in the next two days I'd love to do my nails!! LOL!
I am ready, except for one more grocery store trip. I am actually making up things to do so I can get out of the house. With all this snow I have been home bound for too long. Mom will be here later today and we will also make some more cookies.
pretty much ready. have to: clean the house sometime before friday bake 3 cookie recipes and that's about it! some lights have gone out on the tree. ask me if i care. we'll probably see a movie or two before christmas and are totally going to see sherlock holmes on christmas. so - pretty much ready!
Hmmmm...my list is not quite that big! Presents are bought and wrapped, baking is pretty much done, keeping Christmas simple! I work tomorrow, so one trip to Walmart today, and that's about it! Hope you all finish off your lists on time!!!
I have some last minute wrapping to do, and I should double check my menu/food list. Other than that, I'm good!
We have to wrap all the gifts...unfortunately, since the boys are out of school, by the time they go to bed, we're also ready! Tonight, I may to have some coffee and stay up late!!! Must wrap all gifts!!! It stinks to be sitting here at work when I have so much to do at home...hopefully I can get some control tonight and feel more ready after tonight's elfin wrapping adventure!!!! I think I also need one more grocery trip too
I'm getting things caught up thru next week when I will be on vacay! YAY! So, in the end it will make coming back a better experience (hopefully!)
DH and I always take one night and wrap everything together, so we are doing that tonight. Otherwise, I just have some grocery shopping to do. I'm still feeling guilty for not doing cards this year...

Add me to the list of those sitting at work and wishing desperately to be at home marking things off of my to-do list. I got quite a bit of wrapping done and DH went to the grocery store for us last night so that's a plus. I still have lots to wrap and baking to do and I still have 2 small things to pick up for DS. AND DH had to go out of town this morning for a last-minute overnight work trip. UGH! He is a good man though and bought me 4 bottles of wine last night to keep me company while he is out of town. I love him!
We wrapped a lot of stuff last night, and have one more big wrapping night to go. I'm all set with gifts except for a print I bought for my brother that needs to be framed. I just grocery shopped today and hope I didn't forget anything for Christmas brunch and dinner. I need to get our calendars done - that is what I am working on now!
I am sitting here at work, too. but it's my last day until after new years, except for checking in one day next week. I have.... everything left to do, ahahahha. well, the gifts are winging there way here, hopefully. I need to sit down and tally what i ordered and see if I am done. then stocking gifts. brunch menu and shopping tree wrapping family photo for NEW YEARS card ahahaha. i think that is all I can feasibly do in two days. if I do end up with time, I'll bake goodies to share. that's a big if though.

Well one Christmas is now over for us! My side of the family all came over last night and did chinese and gifts. Very low key but the kids loved it. I have finished my gift shopping but need to get it wrapped. Still need to get some stuff for Christmas breakfast/brunch. Still need to get Santa photos but DH is fixing my car at work again today. Need to get the kids to finish their Santa letters today to give to him tomorrow. Replies are printed out and just need envelopes! We did Santa videos yesterday...the kids loved them! And guess what I got from my Mum for Christmas??!! 1TB EHD!!!! So I need to start backing up and moving all my photos off my computer! Yay for more space and faster PS!!
